As an early buyer of the Nintendo Switch, it’s nice to know I don’t need to budget to save up to buy the Switch 2, since I won’t be because of this.

Because of physical media.
As long as you don’t break encryption to dump that media.
When they turn off their online service they won’t be able to brick jailbroken switch 2s…

Not sure I understand the comparison. Steam DRM is easy to remove, and there’s no device to jailbreak as it’s just a PC.
