SOMA and Outer Wilds are still haunting me like this.

Hey, same two games for me!

SIGNALIS fucked me up for like a year

I couldn’t get into that one. Idk if the controls felt clunky or what. Should I stick with it? I’ve been thinking about trying it again

There’s a third person mod for it if that style of gameplay would suit you better.

It’s an absolute masterpiece, but it requires your active attention. You have to put the pieces it gives you together, or you won’t get that expansive “more than the sum of it’s parts” effect that really good art can do.

To be honest, I never got that feeling. I always feel catharsis finishing a game. However, with a huge exception on the Metal Gear Solid series, because Hideo Kojima always leaves more questions than answers at the end of the games. But without spoiling anything for those who haven’t played it yet, the exception in itself in the series is MGSV which completed the series full circle at the end.

The only time I felt empty after consuming a media is after the finale of Breaking Bad. Never have I felt so empty and lost on what to do after. Post-college life does not even beat it.

Red Dead 2 after the main story line… and then we got the epilogue!

Felt like I lost a friend after that one.

I get depressed when I don’t finish a game… Beat Dave the diver recently and that made me so happy

I finished Yakuza 7 last year after post game depression of Yakuza 6… Needless to say I was depressed but significantly happier than when I completed Y6.

I finish very few games unfortunately. Last one that gave me post game depression was Hi-Fi Rush I think

I tend not to finish them as well. I think I just like the exploration and learning part, then I get bored when it comes time to apply what I learned and power through content.

waiting for half life 3…

I never finished a game yet 😂 well, except lego harry potter, but that was a “finally!” 🤪😅😂

Me and Lunacid. Immediately started a new playthrough after 100%-ing it.

Play most Capcom games, incredible replay-ability.

This is my go-to for post-game depression: https://youtu.be/wBzqOa9y02I?feature=shared

FUCK…titanfall 2 was awesome.

My grandfather died right around the release of psychonauts 2. I played that game nearly non-stop while I did a 100% completion. It got me through the start of that grieving period. I remember being mad it wasn’t longer because nothing else released at the time was nearly that good when it came to writing and gameplay. Amazing game to be honest. Definitely in my top 10 all time. But I might be biased because of it being exactly what I needed when I needed it.
