We’ve waited this long, we can wait longer.
Wild, this was at one time going to come out the same year as Cyberpunk, or am I recalling things wrong?
And let them test if it is playable through Wine :)
If a game hasn’t been fully bugtested, I wouldn’t consider it “done…”
Colour me flabbergasted f this gets out and doesn’t totally suck ass in regards to study and atmosphere. It’s so sad how this series ended up in development hell.
William SRD on YT does a lot of masquerade universe games reviews.
This one is titled: The Werewolf Game That’s Scared of Itself | Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood
The sad reality is that the masquerade universe is insanely deep, incredibly rich, and almost never gets a game that does it justice. Redemption and Bloodlines were by far the best games in-universe…and even they don’t really do the material justice.
Passed around multiple studios and publishers and restarted development more times than can be counted. This is going to be a Duke Nukem Forever scenario at worst and a Cyberpunk “spend three years in unlabeled early access before being worth the money” at best
Que the reviews, “This game sucks!”
I avoided any spoilers like the plague. I just hope it will be like the first game and won’t mutate into a generic shooter.
Don’t hold your breath. Any hope of getting the true sequel died with the firing of Brian Mitsoda I think. Doesn’t even look like Rik Schaffer is involved in the project anymore either.
So far I’d say The Chinese Room has got a decent rep so… 🤞
Outlook bad.
It might turn out to be a good game even, but I highly doubt it lives up to the first game in any way.
Need to enter torpor to actually see this game come out huh?
Cool, so always….
