Twitch does this quite often, I don’t know why they get called bans either. Nonpermanent “bans” are a thing, but in the case of a widely used service like Twitch I think it’d make more sense to call them suspensions like you said.

Hate to think what the 60 launch is going to be like, jesus. Paying increasingly more for decreasing quality.

Unless you’re specifically directing it toward someone who’s sensitive to it, swearing generally doesn’t harm anyone or make them sad. Whether it’s a good, or bad thing, that swearing has been normalised, the fact is that it has been, at least on the internet.

I don’t care for the quality of either controller tbh. The haptic feedback for the PS5 controller is nice, but until official controllers start using HE sticks, they’re pretty much worthless to me.

Wilds doesn’t run particularly well even on desktops, never mind decks.

The first game is a blast with friends, so I hope the sequel follows suit.

This is the problem with people who have massive audiences, they need to verify what they claim otherwise they can do a lot of harm to people.

I used to manually mod like this, but for a few years now I’ve pretty much just been using mod lists/packs.

For Bethesda RPGs (TES/Fallout), and a couple other games, you can use Wabbajack to auto-install a bunch of different lists, some of which have thousands of mods.

For other games you can usually use Vortex and Nexus collections, or in the case of Steam workshop, workshop collections.

If you want a good mod list for BG3, there’s Listonomicon.

If I know I’d be buying day 1 anyway, yes I’ll preorder. I know I’ll be playing Avowed day one because it looks like my cup of tea, and I’ll be playing Wilds day one because I have a ton of friends who want to play it together.

You’ve spent like a sixth of the time since release playing it? Damn. What’s your playtime across all the games?

If the biggest game of the decade charges $100, every triple A game will charge the same, and other games will probably be more expensive as well, and in most cases it’ll be more money for the same steadily decreasing quality, at least in the triple A market.

At least it’s a good sign for their next game, though hopefully Avowed is good as well.

Centre-aligned taskbars are nice though :(

If they do it, it would unfortunately still sell like hotcakes, being one of the most anticipated games of the past decade.

Yeah, Starsector is probably my favourite lesser known game. There’s a mod/tool called “Mikohime Java 24” that’s supposed to help a lot with the performance, but I haven’t had a chance to test it myself. Would be great to see another quest line, if I had the skills I’d love to make a mod myself lol.

Perhaps Starsector? It’s a top-down sandbox rpg. I personally find the lore and world-building interesting. Has great mechanics, and you can really get into the nitty-gritty when it comes to ship and fleet builds, you can basically do anything you want, whether you want to do solo stuff or form an empire. It also has a fantastic modding community.

At least a year after releasing it on console, in an attempt to get players to buy the console for the sequels. I think there’s at least a small chance they might start releasing them sooner but we’ll have to see.

So many “competitors” coming out, but I still think I’m just gonna wait for the Deck 2.

That 0.1% is the number of players who have the achievement, not OP’s completion progress. But it’s also probably very small.

If you were traveling at a constant 100 mph, it would take you 249 hours to travel around the circumference of the Earth, and 2,389 hours to reach the Moon. If the distances are actually accurate then these achievements should be nigh on impossible to get in any reasonable amount of time. That now 0.2% of players have them means the distances aren’t accurate, that they used an achievement unlocker, cheated in-game, or have a fuckton of playtime.

Not necessarily. It’s directly integrated into the program and platform that most PC gamers use, meaning it doesn’t require any third party software and is probably easier to use. Personally, Geforce’s solution stopped working reliably for me a long time ago.

This is why roguelikes that are actually closer to Rogue are called traditional roguelikes these days.

Doesn’t matter. It’s still going to be the same Ubisoft formula. It’s a shame as well because the potential is always there but they’re too afraid to actually innovate, not even considering the actual QA issues.
