There was a more polished site I found several years ago with the same sort of puzzles. I did one a week or so for months, and now I no longer have to look up how to regex stuff!

It took me way too long to parse that word with the typo.
So, I might be the dumb one here, but what the hell am I looking at?
It’s a crossword puzzle, but using patterns. Regular expressions will match whatever pattern you give it. For example, you could say, match any word that doesn’t have an o or an e in it. That’s what this is, except a bunch of them.

Honestly don’t feel bad. Regex is fuckwit of a thing to learn. I hate when I have to use it and need to lookup the docs every time.
Nah, I’ve been using regular expressions for like a decade now and i still have to look up how to use them when I need too. They’re super convoluted to understand.
