The game is literally made up of gambling imagery. From cards to chips to terms, the whole fuckin 9 yards. MY POINT IS ITS NOT GAMBLING, ITS GAMBLING IMAGERY.

I prefaced the whole fuckin statement I started with with saying it’s bullshit. DESPITE THAT BULLSHIT THE LABEL IS NOT INCORRECT. I hope you can stop being fucking obtuse and see my point after I’ve rephrased it multiple times.

Do you know what gambling imagery entails? It doesn’t have to be how antes actually are used in poker for it to be gambling imagery.

A game just has to show characters gambling for it to be gambling imagery. It doesn’t even have to be anything more than a level in a casino.

I think the important note is it’s not just the cards in Balatro. Is it right? Not in my opinion. You have to admit tho, that it uses waaaaay more gambling imagery (you make antes for fuck’s sake)

Dude you threatened a kid and are suffering the consequences. This is intended behavior in an RPG. You cheesed and broke it to get it to that point in the camp and you’re blaming Larian. You chose to play Dark Urge and be a dick to a child and don’t want to deal with everyone hating that. Move on to act 2 and suffer the consequences lol.

Finally got Witcher 3 on my PC so I can play that again.

Me and the (long distance) gf bought It Takes Two

Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Death’s Door, cute souls like

Spider-Man: Miles Morales

And God of War Ragnarok wasn’t on sale but I was waiting to see if it would be, so I technically bought it during the autumn sale

This isn’t to say it’s not a game that won’t challenge reflexes if you let it. I think it’s fair to say better reflexes in a souls like can serve to make a boss easier as you play more on the edge. Of course this takes having your game knowledge and pattern recognition on point.

A more accurate description of the situation is that a broken clock is right twice a day as he validly complains about racists sending hate to his employees.

After 100%ing the game, seeing some of y’all complaining is something else. Reeks of not even trying to learn.

As much as I love my PC, playing on my GFs PS5 really sold me that a cheap PC just cannot compare, especially if more than one person will be using it.

Hand over $1500 and you’ll have a better set up with a PS5, a good TV, and multiple games, I just can’t tell someone it’s better.

A gaming PC is a “get what you pay for” experience, especially as AAA games become less optimized.

i said I cant survive for 3 months without pay, I have a mortgage and they looked me in the eye and said:

“well, you probably shouldn’t have signed the contract then 🙂”

That’s the type of response that would get some people stabbed with the nearest pointed object available.

I wouldn’t be so sad about it. That’s just what happens with AAA games. I cite Cyberpunk (which honestly great in CDPR for how much post-launch work they’ve put in, but we gotta admit it was launched when it was as a means to pull in profit fast), every modern Fifa or CoD or Madden. Diablo 4 has been the king of this crime.

On the other hand you have amazing games being pushed out by indie devs, or smaller franchises within those big publishers. Hell, doesn’t even need to be either of those, Nintendo still puts out mega-hyped high quality games like Super Mario Wonder or BoTW/TotK.

BG3 probably game of the decade btw.

The massive hype and popularity means everyone and their mother will buy it day 1 even if it ends up being trash. They don’t need to keep you happy, just to buy the game

NieR, come for the 2Booty, stay for the existential questioning of the meaning of life.

One of my favorite games of all time and I 1000% picked it up because the fan art of the MC is hot.

Of all the games to comment this on, BG3 is one game that is justified at full price for the sheer density of it, and all of it interesting. From day one they were hotfixing and it’s never run badly, just not perfectly optimized.

I get gaming on a budget but this comment really sounds like hate trying to say it doesn’t deserve full price.

He opened with praising Diablo 4, feels low effort and should net a penalty, with a bad finish too. I’ll go with 4/10.

Add Armored Core VI to the list. Looks pretty good so far. Releases on the 23rd.

I will defend microtransactions till the day I die!!!

For free to play games, where they belong, where it’s a means for a dev to make money without cramming ads into a game or selling your data.

Full priced games having micros is the most bullshit fuckery. Every MMO you play now, cool mount? It’s a micro! Because grinding doesn’t make these companies more money.

Amd then theyre stuck with a game they bought full price to play once for shits n giggles. Game passes are great for getting to try out games you might not play otherwise or would only want to play once.

This is one of the few corporate mergers I think could make things better because Blizzard is just THAT bad.

Plus this means the SC themed Halo clone I’ve wanted for the better part of 2 decades could be a thing.
