If it is F-Zero, and it is true that Nintendo showed off their new hardware at Gamescom, I wouldn’t be surprised if the new F-Zero game is a launch title for the new console. F-Zero would make a good title to show off improved graphical and processing power, especially if the new console is supposed to keep up with the Xbox Series/PS5.

And while no date is confirmed, the speculation is it will happen by the end of the month because Nintendo typically has a September direct.

But I guess it’s probably just a remaster of GX if we will see a return of F-Zero.

I never expected them to make another one, F-Zero is a game with a steeper learning curve than Mario Kart and people bitched about how hard GX was.
It’s been 20 years they will obviously be changing the formula a bit.
The same ‘reliable leaker’ has leaked three separate directs, Mario Wonder, Mario RPG remake, Detective Pikachu, and a ton more.
Kinda at the point where they’re probably just part of the hype cycle
