probably they just dont want to make new games and just want to keep expanding switch online, but still want to sell consoles as well

I started really gaming on xbox 360 with elder scrolls but then around 2019 I focused on getting good with mouse and keyboard and switching to pc.

I used to do those aim training games and got pretty good at it but then when I had my baby I tried going back to controller to game on the TV but it was tough.

I ended up getting a lap desk and an azeron keypad with a hand held ball mouse thing to play like rts games.

I think I’d need to sit down and just practice with an aim trainer like I did going to mouse and keyboard to get back to using a controller to play games that require decent aim

Oh that’s awesome I’ll have to ask around or search if it’s possible. I use desktop mode daily on my Samsung to VPN into a vm I have at home so I can mess around with pictures or things during lunch

Oh nice maybe I can finally leave my samsung behind. But I’m guessing if it were to use grapheneOS it would break desktop mode

I guess everyone will work in solidarity to kill the player who picked the cybertruck character, then once that’s done the remaining humanoids will just play like normal

That sounds like a big audience, most of the gamers I know always go for multi-player games so they can play together so I’d imagine it’s a big market Sega wants to exploit

Because the diamond guy wants to advertise to people like you, Google just gives them a check list of who they want to target and Google listens, if big diamond wants nerds to see diamond ads Google will take their money

To me that was oblivion, when I got skyrim I just felt burnt out because it felt so similar but at the same time missing some of the stuff I liked like the custom spells etc, then fallout 4 came out and I sort of shelved it but once I got into it I spent soo many hours on it. Maybe it’s like cod now where if you skip a few years it’s fun again but not every single game because they just aren’t that different

at the end of the day they are going to make the game they want, whether we like it or not, microsoft is now involved as well so who knows how that is going to affect them with their decisions

But that’s their thing, they made war for the overworld because they were huge fans of bullfrog’s dungeon keeper and wanted a spiritual successor to it, now galacticare might be like bullfrog’s theme hospital

I always thought AAA just meant they have a lot of money, like how cod games are AAA because of the budget but are still terrible, not as an indicator of quality

KISS changed my perception of how I use my phone, using a bunch of icons on different pages seems crazy now

I have a ton of hours in that game, I enjoyed building bases and most of the game, my favorite dlc is far harbor

There’s just so much everything now a days. There’s tons of great new music and tons of great new games buried in all the new stuff thats being pumped out that it’s hard to find the gems. There’s lots of passionate people out there taking the time and effort to try and make the best

Mystery container with possibility of contents containing loot crates that may contain loot box that may contain chip for a weekly subscription

I think it depends on your gpu, I plugged in one of those dummy hdmi things from Amazon to keep my nvidia gpu happy

Where do you store it when it’s not in use?

Yeah the thumb stick is what sold me on that azeron but now I’m wondering what my fingers are going to do if they aren’t on w a s d at least for fsrthest frontier it’s mostly wasd and mouse clicking so I guess I’ll just now use all the shortcut keys instead of moving the mouse to the build buttons and all that all the time

Do they make like TouchPad protectors that you can swap out?

Oh wow looks like it!

haha yeah that probably is the best advice but shes so comfy just sleeping there

Couch Gaming setups
So I switch between playing games from my desk and my couch. I have a long HDMI cable that runs from my desktop to my tv. before I would use a bluetooth keyboard and a bluetooth mouse when playing from the couch with a little table or with a xbox 360 controller. recently we had a baby and she sleeps a bit less now but still for a few hours at a time during the day. now I feed her and she will fall asleep on me so sometimes I dont really want to move much after she falls asleep but I got pretty into [farthest frontier](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1044720/Farthest_Frontier/) which needs a keyboard and mouse to play. but with baby on my chest I cant really use the desk and a keyboard and mouse is kind of tough to use, the mouse likes to slide around which scrolls the view I started looking up solutions and ended up finding the [elecom relacon](https://www.amazon.com/ELECOM-Bluetooth-Thumb-operated-Trackball-M-RT1BRXBK/dp/B08GSCC8RX) trackball mouse ![Elecom Relacon](https://i.imgur.com/n6g6grM.jpeg) I just got it today and was playing a bit of elder scrolls oblivion with it and it works pretty well on my left hand I am using my [quefrency split](https://keeb.io/collections/quefrency-split-staggered-65-keyboard) keyboard half ![keebio quefrency](https://imgur.com/vi1NN3O.jpeg) which isnt bad but then I found the [Azeron cyborg](https://www.azeron.eu/) after going down a rabbit hole on gaming keypads like the razer tartarus and logitech g13. I watched a few youtube videos and the idea of the thumb stick sounded very good for movement so I was sold on the azeron. Im excited to try it and believe that is the best to use for my left hand. ![azeron cyborg compact](https://imgur.com/RFhWxUY.jpeg) I found a promising looking gyro mouse from some guys but there hasnt been any updates on the [project](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XxKeN7ExFz0) ![Imgur](https://imgur.com/xms2WGD.jpeg) I would like somthing like a joycon mixed with a steam touch controller but i cant find anything. is anyone using any strange gaming methods like this? that has found something that works well
fedilink

Yup this is the one

https://github.com/Steam-Headless/docker-steam-headless

I run unraid so I just got it from the community apps and let it access the same gpu I use for plex

Yeah I saw a few on Amazon but they all looked pretty low quality and didn’t mention the split screen view but the other commenter linked one that looks promising so I’ll try it out

I use my server with the steam headless docker and that way I always have games available to stream to my phone. It’s nice that it’s a docker container because then the gpu can be shared between that and plex. You can then install sunshine on the docker and moonlight on your phone or a laptop

Oh I’m not sure I’ve never looked into what that is

Does anyone know if there is a device that let's you combine two video inputs and then outputs one split screen view. I've read some tvs have that feature but I don't have the option on mine so maybe there is a separate device that can do it. The goal is to be able to play split screen the games me and the wife used to play but from the couch now that we have a baby gaming at our desk isn't really a thing anymore so I'm thinking split screen with xbox controllers would be nice
fedilink

Check out black box down if you haven’t, I’ll have to check out mayday

For me the game only became fun when I started playing with the wife, we split up tasks and got a lot more done and was much funner

I just started using obsidian and I’m interested to see how it starts to link notes together

Yeah oblivion ruined games for me i played skyrim after but just couldnt get into it as much but then going back to oblivion feels bad especially since pc didnt get controller support I cant just sit on the couch and play and if im going to sit at my desk i feel i need to get through new game backlog since desk time is a commodity now for me

I dislike the latest updates to waze on Android auto. I always refresh my route before going to the freeway on my commute but now the routes button moved to the top right corner and is tiny. For that reason I prefer my phone on my click in wireless charger in my car which has the better phone waze ui

Nokia XpressMusic was the best, just realized they released a new version of it a few years ago but only in some countries
