Yeah if that scene represented the game it would have been a cool game
I’m not a real gamer, just an adult with disposable income and thousands of hours playing games, at least as far as steam tells me… so maybe I’m a problem gamer?
I have no idea about the whole steam point system, i totally ignore it… i just buy games on deep discounts… so while I have 6000 hours of play time, I have a backlog of games with 20,000 hours of possible play time, and I will die with steam games I’ve paid real actual money for that I have never, ever, ever played.
Yeah if things are fine and I bought the game I don’t leave a review. Only if it’s exceptionally good, or I feel I need to warn others do I take the time to review.
Basically if I bought a game and put more then 5 hours into it and didn’t have anything to say, that is my positive appreciation signal
I’ve got 2000 hours in Factorio and haven’t left a review on steam…
Depends on the context of the game. If you have clues, maps, items, mechanics that would assist an adventurer then having a maze with islands would be rewarding for the invested player.
I.e. leaving footsteps in the sand, or being able to paint walls, or leave breadcrumbs, or finding a old incomplete map

If your having unsatisfying location, go through this guide to turn on Google everything for location.
You will need to grant “Allow all the time” Location access to Google Play services along with the Nearby Devices permission for it to have all the access it needs. You need to use the “Google Location Accuracy” link from the sandboxed Google Play configuration menu to access the Google Play services menu for opting into their network location service, otherwise this is all pointless

Where I think he makes a crossed point about social media. Attacking a game worker on social media who is just minding their own business isn’t cool, I agree.
However, responding to a game workers taunts on social media is exactly the engagement social media was designed for. That’s why the creatives are there calling their customers toxic to get engagement

About 1m estimated sales on steam, so probably 2m across all platforms, not bad - I wonder what her next project will be?
Depends on where your going and your threat model, but basically every time you cross a boarder your phone is fair game to be searched and compromised.
Even if you have nothing to hide and your phone gets searched, now you can’t trust it, something may have been tampered or installed, so you have to reset it (at a minimum).
Travel phones might optimize different features (like sharing vpn over hotspot) vs high security (gos), may have different radios, or just less of a pain to replace.
When you travel you may have to install apps that are outside your comfort zone (wechat, velo chat, taxi apps, etc)
When you have a dedicated blanked phone for travel, you become very deliberate about what data you take with you, which is good for corporations and thoughtful individuals.
3 - Since its not getting security updates, should never leave your network or talk to the cell network, its just a conceit to good enough convenience.
