I hope I can now play all buzz games, some of them had the problem that the blue button was continuously pressed and you couldn’t play the game.

For me it’s a great party game. I regularly meet with some friends since 2013 to play local multiplayer games. For the most time we played Nintendo games, but since I got a Steam Deck we wanted to try some non Nintendo games, so I am building a steam local multiplayer library. And stick fight is usually our starter game since the rounds are so short.

What does this locking do? Where I live every online vendor offers to pay by installments which addresses the issue that people could not afford the upfront price, why do the phones have to be locked in the US?

I would say because it does not use it’s medium very well. It’s more like a playable movie, while videogames can be so much more than that.

Does review bombing have to be negative? For me it was always a big pile of reviews in a short time, like dropping a bomb, but without inherent rating.

I have no idea how modding works, but how would they get ready for a patch without having the files in advance?

You could play this instead if you like this style.

The most annoying thing for me is that Firefox is reloading the current tab if I switch apps and then back to Firefox. Why is this not saved somehow and needs to reload the whole page?

Which App do you use for recording?

Yeah, I feel sorry for the people who are now losing their jobs over something like this as well as my personal hopes for some of the franchises.

Und hier der link :)

I can’t give you an answer to the legality question, but some additional information I heard in a podcast: The acquisitions came at a time when money was cheap and people were playing a lot more video games because of the pandemic. Unfortunately, they miscalculated because money is now much more expensive again and the gaming industry has not been able to retain these players across the board. Only 4 games that have come out since then have brought in much more than the production costs, which then had to finance the remaining ~15 (all from my memory, but it should be in the order of magnitude). That didn’t work out and so now cuts have to be made to avoid burning even more money.

If you understand German, I can send you a link to the podcast, if you’re interested.

Change your adblocker, Firefox+ ublock origin works for me.

Could you link the FossifyX repo? I only find one with a 404 error

Additionally the article sounds not very factual, the author seems a little butthurt that some players dare to stand up for themselves.

You are correct that the term “podcast” derives from the iPod, but interestingly the term predates Apple’s addition of podcasting features to the iPod and the iTunes software.

You could try AntennaPod, I really like it and it’s open source.

According to Wikipedia Bing is only part of the results: “DuckDuckGo’s results are a compilation of “over 400” sources according to itself, including Bing, Yahoo! Search BOSS, Wolfram Alpha, Yandex, and its own web crawler (the DuckDuckBot); but none from Google.”

Can you elaborate how this act could affect me in Germany?

Which app can you recommend for call recording?

I am here since the blackout using Jerboa, but I get an error when I click on it, doesn’t it work in the App? I tried the instance website and put it in the search bar, but it doesn’t work either and unfortunately I don’t find any tutorials how to follow mastodon users from lemmy, do you know how? Another thing I don’t quite understand: with my Lemmy account I can use other Fediverse services like mastodon. And my understanding is that kbin is not the same as lemmy, but another service such as mastodon? So why does kbin come up in my all feed but nothing from other Fediverse services?
