It’s an optional part of getting your game on the steam marketplace, but I’ve had a friend try on steamdeck without messing with it and had no issues. Ymmv, I’m one example and this is my first project.
I agree with the point, but would argue that choosing not to link the fire is distinct from never adventuring at all. Letting the dark gradually take over with no wielder/ruler would make events like Oolacile much more likely than if a Lord of Dark was there to control and direct that power, imo.
For context, I’ve never played a porn game nor do I have any interest in doing so. As others have said, it sets a very dangerous precedent for censorship via payment processors.

We consumer activists don’t want to have choice taken away by a comparatively small group who seems to be misrepresenting the issue and dictating the choices of consumers. The activism itself is not the problem.
Art can serve several purposes. Your tastes are valid as a preference, but fun and escapism are only a small part of what games as an art form can provide. Would you critique a piece of visual art (for example, Guernica) by saying “this isn’t very fun”?
If you ask the question “is this hype or not”, l’d consider who is pushing the narrative and how much they have to gain from it and you’ll probably find your answer.
Oxygen Not Included- very detailed colony sim where scientific things like heat exchange, air pressure, etc. are essential for survival. I swear, my next file will be perfect…
I’ve been procrastinating buying Satisfactory because I’m currently playing Oxygen Not Included (scientific space colony sim) and I only have room for one game to consume my life at a time.
Did the same thing with Dean, he’s tricky to check all the boxes for. I remember going through his final dialogue tree over and over to find a way, but no dice.
Split personality character, listed as “Dog/God” in the wiki. Dog is the half that is subservient and dumb, God is the half that is cold and calculating. The character’s questline has you helping one or the other take over fully, or helping reconcile them into a single personality. Pretty interesting one!
Not my favorite New Vegas DLC but a fun one with memorable characters. I did this one first and the ghosts were a royal pain to deal with. Dog helps though.
