That’s the point I’m making, android cannot know who is driving and has to assume it’s the user of the phone because that is the safest assumption. There should be an option to accept liability for using the phone and driving but that may not be legally defensible. Sexy people outside my window should also sign disclaimers because I keep crashing my car looking at them.

Android cannot know who is scrolling but it does know it is connected to a car. The obvious solution is to disconnect it from the car in order to scroll through the app. It’s completely insane to use a phone while driving and that’s the origin of the message. Attempting to subvert that mechanism is asking for trouble.

As soon as some technology becomes so accessible that anyone can use it, the platform becomes populated by morons and it’s essence is diluted by all sorts of rules put in place so the morons can’t damage each other.

It’s an improvement. The enemies continually increase in strength and number. More weapons and the map is bigger. I’m avoiding using the cheat maps for the most part and it feels like it would take a very long time to complete. I’m playing it on normal difficulty.

The game is still in beta for another month and building options are somewhat limited, which I assume will be expanded. If you liked the original, this one makes a lot of sense.

Been playing Sons of the Forest. Visually stunning, this is good looking game. I like how it can be played as a shooter or an adventure or base building or combination of all three. The map is huge, backstory mysterious and the atmosphere is incredibly immersive, particularly in the caves which are creepy AF.

I removed shorts and for a while my life was better until I got arrested.

They named this pathology The Maddening.

Fair enough, that would be a problem. It’s pretty corrupt that Google is now in the pocket with the telecom sector.

Perhaps an open bridge between the cellular network and the access point is what’s required. This would make the Raspberry Pi a 4G internet access point available over Ethernet and WiFi. One SIM with a decent data plan for the Pi and a smaller one for the phone might be a solution.

It solves the problem of phone based hotspots costing money unnecessarily.

It’s fairly straightforward to do this on a Raspberry Pi. You connect the pi to the internet via ethernet or wireless and then follow the instructions for creating a wireless access point.

Waking Up. Incredible resource, use it every day.
