All the fuckstains who tried to create their own store/launcher have been coming back. Epics store is still running at a massive loss and their own projections (which are probably wrong) show they’ll need to operate at a loss for at least another 4 years. The only games most people I know got on epic store were the free ones…
I sold a wow account 15 years ago that was decked out for the time (guild broke up) for $1,000. Kept getting emails for years. Eventually I got sick of it and responded to one saying the account had changed hands and they banned it immediately. They only care about people selling/trading things outside of their system. They get a wiff of an account being sold and they’ll nuke it.
I bought a super base version when they finally released some shit thinking it’d actually come out. That was like 16 maybe? Check in every few years and am always amazed at how little they’ve got done since the last time. It’s obviously vaporware. I hope someone starts a nice class action lawsuit against them. It’s fraud at this point.
It’s crazy how interlinked black market dealings and money laundering have been to the art world. I shudder to think the amount of artists careers that were made because a couple guys needs to pay each other millions of dollars for something worthless to easily make some clean money on illicit exchanges.
Avocados and all sorts of other pricey things look really yellow and oblong when there’s no manned registers open. I’ve never been confronted about the 4-6 bananas I buy when I used the self check. I really wonder if they can even prosecute you. You just did a bad job, guess they should fire you from your unpaid employment.
Doesn’t metacritic aggregate reviews from other sources on their review scores as well? I havent really considered any of the big name review places a reasonable source for a long time anyway…
Everyone expects the next big game every game. How often can a studio really live up to the hype people create?
Go play anything before it. Shooters are way more complicated and realistic now, but at the time it was amazing and cutting edge.
