A known tipster has seemingly sparked huge speculation on social media that Sony is just about ready to spring the PlayStation 5 Slim (PS5 Slim) on its legions of fans. While a few details had already been shared about a new PlayStation 5 model, the launch schedule of the console was still somewhat clouded.
With all of the cooler revisions they did on the full size it really seems like they can scale it down quite a bit. Maybe not quite PS4 pro size, but certainly more manageable than the current model.
Well, yeah, as long as you can externalized almost all of the cooling configuration in additional to the power supply…but I doubt that’s the route an actual PS5 slim is going to take.
They better not! Physical games are my preference. But honestly you can’t play games offline anymore anyways, you always need at least the day 1 patch and for some games 20 patches after that.

It’s crazy how big the OG model is. The XBSX is also big but it fits way better in my entertainment center

$100 discount has been running on the OG PS5 model for some time here in Australia. I’d say a Slim release is just around the corner.
I could’ve sworn that September is the target date.
They gonna ditch the disc slot? Or hold off until ps6? Gonna be pretty crazy when that trigger is finally pulled.
