No Man’s Sky for sure will be one I play a lot. I also need an Arceus, so I am going to have to get Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, or Shining Pearl.

Sorry! Page not found.

I used to go to Game Stops and buy used copies of the GameBoy Advanced carts, take any ‘mons I was missing and then resell the game or give them away (usually leaving them in Geocaches.

I need to dig out my GameCube and Pokémon Box so I can transfer all of my Pokémon from Emerald (I have all 386).

Sword and Shield feel like the older games to me (I have been playing since Fire Red and Leaf Green, then went back and played Ruby/Sapphire with Emerald being my favorite title). Sw/Sh adds group raids and an area with tons of Pokémon.

I am also playing Violet, which I did not mention here because it is a newer title. Again I enjoy it, but the style is a departure from the older titles as they were going for an open world feel. You can challenge the different story points in any order, but some you still need to be higher level to finish. I think they should have done it where the levels scale.

I have been playing the dlc for Pokémon sword. I just got my Calyrex, next onto Kubfu.

Pokémon Violet and Sword, No Man’s Sky, and The Last Plague: Blight

World of Warcraft, EverQuest, and No man’s Sky

No Man’s Sky has their Cursed Expedition happening now.

Pokemon S/V has a ghost type outbreak, along with Gengar raids.

I think Diablo IV is doing something too, but I have been playing NMS, Pokemon, and planning for IRL Halloween.

bequeath /bĭ-kwēᴛʜ′, -kwēth′/

To leave or give (personal property) by will.
To pass (something) on to another; hand down.
“bequeathed to their children a respect for hard work.”
To give or leave by will; to give by testament; – said especially of personal property.

If they had done this like Alien Vs Predator where you could play as a Marine or a Tyranid i would give it a try. Of all of 40k the Space Marines are the least interesting characters.

I want the chat aspect of discord. I use it for my business (local game shop) to keep customers updated on preorders, new releases, and events at the shop, and to just chat with everyone. It has a much better reach than Facebook or Instagram.

I decided to try guilded.gg as an alternative to discord finally, only to find out they now require a Roblox account to log in. So much for that idea.

I am not a fan of the genre. But a friend I met playing EverQuest back in 99 started to play it because his 6 year old son wanted to play, so I started playing. I enjoyed playing with them, then my own son started to play with us too.

Were this not the case, I would never have played. My friend died in ‘22 and I mostly stopped playing. His son still calls me to play. But other than that I play other games.

If you like the genre, it is a good game. You can play 100% for free unless you needs skins (there are a number you get for free)

It’s a Chinese game developer. These are the things they’re sensitive to. COVID started in China and I guess feminist is a big fucking red flag for women in China?

The Black Myth: Wukong sexism controversy stems from employee reports that developers at Game Science have been making sexist comments for many years, and there’s a suggestion the company doesn’t want women playing its games.

I remember playing WoW and working on getting all of the battle pets available by playing other blizzard games. But I thought this was in 2012. There was at least one obtained by playing hearthstone.

I remember using wsad on an ascii graphics game I played back in 85 or so. I think it was called dungeons and dragons, but was not made by tsr. Larn, hack, and Moria were all similar games but I did not play those until later.

I really thought hearthstone came out much easier than 2014.

Is it though?

Every artist, performer and creator on Patreon is about to get screwed out of 30% of their gross revenue, which will be diverted to Apple

Yes, it makes it sound as though everyone is about to start losing the 30% to Apple No matter how their subscribers pay. Which if you read patreon’s blog post you will see is not the case.

Apple’s fee will not impact your existing members. It will only affect new memberships purchased in the iOS app from November onward.

Which is contradictory to the first line of the linked essay. Does it suck? Yes. But the author of this “article” is trying to build anti-Apple outrage with this piece. Let’s not pretend any company is altruistic. Even Patreon takes a cut.

Many games, have varying difficulty levels. AFAIK movies have never had anything like that.

I have also seen cuts of movies that were horrible, and then an alternative cut is released that is leaps and bounds better.

I do not always have time to “git gud” at a game. Sometimes I want to sit down and play a game for fun, not frustration. I might have played Elden Ring for more than an hour if it had an easier difficulty.

Just give me a game where I am fighting off the crusades.

Exactly, DOOM is DOOM. I remember hearing Wolfenstein calls a DOOM Clone too.

The publisher, Sony is now requiring you link a psn account to play. Apparently there is no psn in quite a few countries, and because of Sony’s frequent data breaches people do not want a psn account.
