I think Sam O Nella dropped a new video too!

505 is one of the weirdest publishers to me, and probably the publisher I have played the most games from if I don’t include series with tons of games in them. Payday 2, Journey to the Savage Planet, Terraria, Backbreaker, Don’t Starve, Sniper Elite V2, How to Survive, Rocket league, Brothers. I can’t think of another publisher who has put out that many big games from different IPs.

They have a lot of balls to drop this after the Fallout 4 special edition. And to include Fallout 76 as ‘a hit game’. I thought it was FTP now?

Like they are going to pay people to work on something for that long. Or maybe all of GTA 6 is being done by like 5 people so they can focus on what really matters-inventing new vehicles for GTA online.

I’m sure lots of low level employees who don’t make a drop in the bucket compared to some executives that do literally nothing.

I love how every article mentioning a game/IP owned by Activision has to say that ‘now that Microsoft owns BAK, the game may be an Xbox exclusive. Ragebait journalism at it best.

You are missing some of the backstory, but the he game is still perfect on its own.

Red Dead 2. I prefer Xbox controllers so I will say on the Xbox One X.

Honestly I lm surprised they have that long to develop. When all you have to do is make some slight MP changes, makes a couple maps(since most of the maps will just be updated maps from already popular COD games, because why make anything fresh?) and then figure out how to make those maps into a single player level and cobble the levels together with some packing tape.

As someone buying a game? If it’s full of bugs, glitches, scummy monetization schemes, or feels outdated.

Kind of a misleading headline; he said that he couldn’t say no if they where to approach him, but he didn’t say he actively wants a movie.

Well Todd Howard is a good example. And I have very little faith in whatever Peter Molyneux puts out next. Thankfully there are many example because not many people are given the type of control over a game that this articles is talking about.

Of course, they are two of the top game directors in the industry. But I think you will find a lot more examples of games where it doesn’t work.

I would say that someone like Kojima is the outlier. There are not many developers like him that can make all the decisions about a game and make the right ones/make decisions that gamers actually agree with. Even Death Stranded wasn’t as big of a hit as people expected it to be. It has developed a large cult following, but it didn’t quite have the same fan appreciation when it launched.

That’s explains it, thanks. You should be getting commission for the article 😂

“The script can convert most models and plugins from both Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, as well as the base game of New Vegas, from their native game engine of Gamebryo. “

It’s definitely written very stupid. The only thing that makes sense is that they are using different builds for FO: New Vegas with all DLC, and maybe the basic un-updated version of FO:New Vegas? Tbh I just assumed it was something that was helped with AI and it didn’t get caught by editing.

Edit-looking at another comment that linked the Nexus page, it looks like they are taking about the base game of New Vegas being ported into the Fallout 4 engine, and the assets from both games. Worded terribly for sure.

What is the difference between Fallout: New Vegas and ‘the base game New Vegas’?

Stardew Valley. I find myself humming the songs through the day all the time, they are so relaxing and whimsical.

Thanks. I’ve gotta go back and finish all those RDR2 gold medals one day too…

I’m playing lots of different games lately; I’m in a contest for achievement hunting and it requires me to earn varying achievements. Lately it’s been Madden 23, Vampire Survivors, Hitman 2, Spyro Remastered trilogy and Walking Dead New Frontier.

Payday 2 has been around forever at this point, so it makes sense. I think it’s probably been around longer than GTA V and has been getting updates and DLC the entire time.

It’s like a first person version of Hotline Miami

Honestly, I doubt it would be a large demographic. It’s hard to get people to even play something splitscreen, why would a bunch of friends huddle around a TV so they can see their small section of screen when they could just play on laptops together even.

Does split screen still not work? I’m pretty sure it doesn’t for MCC at least, and you can use the home console trick to give two accounts access. That’s how I played MCC on Xbox with my fiancé so I know you can do it, but I don’t know how it would work if you don’t use a console at all.

Brute Force for the original Xbox. 4 player squad based gameplay, with different squads full of characters with unique abilities. It was a ‘platinum hit’ but I’m pretty sure anything that sold more than 500 copies was

I saw an interesting comment today regarding Halo Infinite and it’s lack of couch co-op, the user was basically saying it doesn’t matter as much as it used to and I guess it’s true. Even if he got 8 player local co-op working, how many people would get 7 other people to come round and play? It’s hard to essentially do a LAN party these days when you can play the same game online together from the comfort of your own home.

Whaaaaaaat!?!? I thought this was a small update? Seasonal changes to characters, new festivals (I think these are both firsts) plus new quests? Can someone please check on CA and make sure he hasn’t literally burnt out from all the work he is doing to get people quality content?

Stardew had 100% ruined my expectations of games. I didn’t even want to play the Story of Seasons game that got released on GamePass and that was the game that got me into farming sims (the original Harvest Moon version).

The hidden characters in 3+4 made the game so much better

I think it’s kind of misleading saying LTOU was made by Crash Bandicoot developers. It was 14 years after they made Crash Bandicoot.

The developers of Saints Row are so out of the loop that they are launching a GoT DLC in 2023?

Lots of survival games have a feeling like this.

This War of Mine State of Decay Ark: Survival Evolved but that is something you need to spend 100’s of hours in Mount and Blade: Warbands/Bannerlord

Both of those were original stories. TWD built off the universe, but was completely different from anything else put out with that name at the time. If they want to recapture what they had, they need some originality.
