I’m using StartAllBack (paid software), it replace the start menu with a Windows 7 like one, and brings back the pre Windows 11 taskbar, it has no ads and good customization. There’s also Open Shell that is free and Start11 that’s also paid.

“More useful ads” Well the best ads is no ads.

True, I just wished Rockstar didn’t treat PC gamers like second class citizens.

That’s how you succeed, you make a great game, and be pro customer. Not complicated.

I won’t really call that a win,

Reddit lost the trust of many users, a non insignificant part of contributors and moderators left, the enshittification of the platform is not going to stop but they lost a big part of what made Reddit great. They damaged their image and popularity.

It’s like saying Elon won by trashing Twitter. Sure he does what he wants with it but making your platform less desirable sure isn’t a win for the platform.

Yeah, it is probably not happening soon.

True, with DRM we can’t really be owner of the game that’s why DRM free game are the best, and at least even with DRM games in some case games can be played offline, they can be cracked too, but with streaming there would be no more piracy, and no more access without internet and a subscription, and modding would be also impossible.

Nice, I have a Steam Deck and it is awesome that we can play that much games on a handheld device.

Honestly I hope that game streaming doesn’t become mainstream ever, it could mean the end of traditional game ownership. And I think that input lag will always be a thing even with better network speed.

What handheld have you got?

Yeah, the graphics are surely dated, in my opinion it still looks nice, HL has a great art-style. The gameplay is still great, smooth and fun, even if it’s not like modern games with dozens of mechanics, this style of FPS isn’t outdated.

Lol what a stupid take it was, glad that Don Mattrick has been replaced.

Yeah, but it’s a bit easier to install the game directly from Steam instead of installing Bnet as a non Steam game and then downloading the game on Bnet.

Wipeout Pure and Wipeout Pulse, Dissidia, The GTA games, Pursuit Force,

The PSP got some really great games.

A Silent/Vibrate/Ring switch like on the OnePlus phones, headphone jack and a easily swappable battery.

I always was a PC gamer, but I loved the PSP, it was insane how good the PSP was back then. Now I have a Steam Deck and it’s the best of both worlds, I would’ve loved having that kind of thing when I was a kid.

Nice idea to recreate the good communities that were nice on reddit, the most important thing is to have those subreddit equivalents, and people to participate and trying to makes those communities thriving.
