Yeah they gave up announcing new release dates for it like half a decade ago if not longer lmao, but now they’ve started again. Hopefully it’s true this time.

2026 i think they’ve announced somewhat recently, we’ll see if it actually holds though

Insane reading comprehension skills bro, keep it up

It’s been out of early access for years but they’ve not stopped releasing updates and dlc for it

Not my type of game sadly, I’m sure it’s good though if you’re into those sorta games

I read outer wilds at first and I couldn’t be more dissapointed right now. :(

Ironically remnant 2 runs like ass, for me anyway. 2k 16:9 resolution with a 3090 and modern ryzen cpu (forgot which one exactly atm but it cost a lot lmao)

You’ll probably be waiting a very long time then considering the game was published and funded by epic games.

Because emulators are entirely legal and doesn’t facilitate piracy on their own

Fair, but the point was that the parent company is unaffected by this, the people who work there haven’t quit afaik.

Edit: hold up I just had a double take at the article and it’s the publisher where people quit lmao. I actually can’t read goddamn ignore me…

Edit 2: Ok I see what confused me now. On another site I read that the Alan wake deal is unaffected because that’s with the parent company Annapurna Pictures. Mixed them together.

They didn’t make outer wilds (the parent company Annapurna interactive published it)

ContractVille is a pretty similar game except it’s also open world and coop. It has its fair share of performance issues and bugs though, especially when you’re playing coop as a non host.

They recently made it possible to have multiple characters on one account

Not quite. They’ve completely replaced and expanded/improved a LOT of things. Just read their dev blogs and find out for yourself.

This. I’m so fucking tired of seeing new competitive esport games being announced. Seeing valves new game was a huge dissapointment.

Can confirm the balancing is whack. Permanent upgrades are also basically useless (very miniscule difference for a high price)

There’s no point where you’re overpowered which is the most fun part in these types of games

This guy out here thinking it takes less than a year to develop and release a game

In my experience turning off dof and global illumination takes you from 20 fps to 80 (1440p, rtx 3090)

The game is cpu bound so having a 4090 won’t do you much good if your Cpu can’t keep up, which is the problem most people have
