I never said anything about not reviewing the code. You still need to review it and test it and all that. But using a tool to generate the code isn’t the end of the world. It’s just the next iteration of how we tell computers what to do. Saying no ai code seems like a recipe for failure.

When we write code we use a compiler to translate it into other code that the computer can understand. Now we tell AI to write code that is then compiled into other code that the computer can understand.

It seems very similar at the end of the day. The problem is it makes the process easier. That’s what everyone is so upset about. And that’s only an issue because we don’t feel special anymore. It sucks but I’m sure it will pass. Even if it takes a generation

Who cares they will just be the same thing with more powerful hardware.

Make something new already

Also what about AI code tools? Like if they use cursor to help write some code does that disqualify them?

Dude, I thought you were cool.

Owning a yacht is like the lamest thing you could possibly do!

With the coolest things being feeding the hungry and housing the poor obviously.

Yeah so they should shop around now that theirs seems to be problematic

So can I call the payment providers of the companies I don’t like and complain about them?

Why are they doing a comprehensive audit on the content and not doing a comprehensive audit on new payment providers? I sure would be

I love your passion for this controller. Awesome post.

I wish companies couldn’t buy other companies. That’s how all the best things die

Yeah they just move on and don’t even call out the lie. Then people see it and assume it’s true

That’s the best model. Nintendo games used to get cheaper over time too. Idk how that stopped so easily. I guess you can’t find them used without game stop in most places though so they are happy to keep it high

I would argue they don’t even need to be updated. They were fun already in their time. I wish people would just come up with totally new ideas. I don’t need the same characters in every game I play. Same with movies now too Everything is a remake or a sequel.

I love to play indie games though.

Nope just someone’s crushed hopes and dreams at that point lol

Idk I thought they would have already left a long time ago but they are still there

Actually there is a company called limited run games I think that goes all out and prints physical copies of some indie games with instructions and bonus stuff. It’s pretty awesome but takes a while to get it.

This happened to me once when I updated Android. The bank software had a check for a specific version and my version was higher so it thought I was running something weird. I had to wait for the bank to update the app to support the newest android version

Don’t most union workers currently work in jobs that don’t make sense to be remote like manufacturing? I wish there was a tech workers union that could push for this. I’m no union expert though

This is great but my fear is that one day he will go public and not share the profits with the employees. I worked at a company like that. Said they would never sell until they did for a record amount that they didn’t really share with the employees.

Yeah or an artist they already have on salary. This was just less work for someone already working for them.

It doesn’t matter if you all don’t like ai art. It’s not going away and it will only continue to be more prevalent.

You should embrace it. I say this as someone who has a ton of debt from art school still. Resistance is futile.

@pregnenolone has been Slamming slammed articles!

It’s just so they can still write an article even though nothing really happened

This is super true in so many ways. I worked for a private company for several years and about 2 years ago they were bought out by a public company. Things changed real quick lol. The original owners swore they would never sell too. I til they did one day lol

Why would a state attorney generally have any oversight over the content of the internet? That seems way out of scope for their job
