We already had all of this last year. Phone manufacturers are so useless these days… Virtually no innovation at all in over a decade.

I was more engaged by this than the Witcher 3. I’m not saying it’s better, I’m just saying it was engaging.

What comes to my mind is Battlefront 2, which is sold by Steam. I think I paid $5 for it since I boycotted it back when it first came out to due to loot crates… anyway, I regularly see the n-word used in this game every. single. night. It’s used specifically to denigrate people of color, in violent and extremely racist ways.

I don’t understand how players with maxed out accounts are able to keep them when they are saying this stuff. How is that not flagged for immediate review? EA is a trash company, and Steam may want to stop selling their games if they can’t do the BARE MINIMUM to combat this sort of behavior.

Is this a Linux problem? I’ve never had to look for this detail before in Windows.

I mean, I love Lovecraftian stuff, but that dude was a huge racist… Might be deliberate that you can’t play as him.

They have a convention for this vaporware? …And people still go to it?!

The second season was a lot better than the first. They made Cortana so strange looking in that first season…

Yup. I canceled Netflix when they removed the star ratings because it was clear what they were doing. Most people didn’t care, though.

Anyone still on shitter is not going to care. There is zero integrity on that platform at this point. Just people supporting hate speech and Musk by their very participation.

I hate controllers. I use them only on games that suggest they are important. I don’t tend to like those games.

We all know that all they are going to do is re-release new versions of their old games on devices we largely don’t care about.

Yes, we know. We’ve been alive long enough to see You Tube’s slow demise.

I’ve never bought this game. When I see shit like this, I think “I shouldn’t buy this game”.

Yeah, this is already happening. I’m watching people lose their jobs. I’m starting to wonder how many AI apologists are real people without motives.

I’m not suggesting we ban it, either… But we need legislation and common sense laws/rules/limits. If this isn’t achieved soon, countless workers will be upended for the enrichment of the few.

People are already losing their jobs… This is simply domonstrably false.

I think maybe you’re focusing on a specific topic, rather than the broader one. For example, AI is still not great at technical troubleshooting… Though, honestly, it’s getting better at an alarming rate.

I loved the first game! It was genuinely amazing. People don’t talk about it, but it was seriously inspiring. I loved the exploration mechanic, and the general randomness they injected in.

If you use an android device, like a fire stick, you can block 100% of those YouTube ads with a simple app. It doesn’t break them, they just don’t show up at all.

I’ve got a GS22U and I’ve never seen an ad.

Lol, it’s literally right there in the title. Look at the hashtags.

Can we not put ads on Lemmy? Thanks… Go back to Reddit, please.

Only iPhone’s are getting so hot they are burning people. It’s poor engineering more than cheap parts, I imagine.

Idiots that will die on a hill defending the game, calling everyone who doubts it a “hater”.

Useful idiots to the Star Citizen devs, that’s for sure.

Yeah, no… You can disapprove of what’s going on here (vapor ware), and not be a “hater”. Grow up.

Lol this is how I do everything now. Starfield looked okay, but I won’t touch it unless it goes below $30. I do not feel like I’m missing absolutely anything.

Well, that’s shitty. I’ll never understand why some of these companies are so dated in their thinking.

Hey, can I get in on this? My idea is Star Citizen, but with even more ships that anyone can buy for even more real money.

Starfield is single player, so it’s not really in the same category. Star Citizen was meant to connect people, which is why the lack of launch sucks so hard. Nobody can ever convince me it’s playable without a permanent, persistent universe for this reason.

This is exactly why “new” phones suck so hard these days. Why do good things when doing nothing is so profitable?

God damn fucking Patrick Rothfuss… What a beautiful story to likely never have an ending. Don’t read into it, anyone… Not unless he releases that last book.
