More info dropped on this if anyone is curious, although it’s still pretty confusing what maintenance mode actually means.

I don’t try to criticize people for pirating games. They’re expensive and a lot are greedy.
What I do tell people though is support good games.
If you end up playing a pirated game you really enjoy, you should try to support it if you can, even if it’s from one of the bigger publishers. It’s basically our only way to truly tell a publisher that we like something and to keep making it.
Not counting un reasonably priced re-releases though. I totally get that (looking at you Nintendo for Galaxy 1+2)

They must have raised the repair price. I sent mine in for repair for my R1 button (I had dropped it and it had actually broke the micro switch off completely). It was $120 +$30 shipping. They basically had a single fee for minor repairs and one for major repairs.
They only considerd mine a minor repair for me at the time though, not sure why this users got called a major.

Only works if you haven’t updated it since the February 2021 update. You also would lose the actual built in Chromecast feature.
Cool but I don’t really see why you would do it on this device when you can just flash android to a raspberry pi or something and have basically the same thing at that point.
As someone playing this on a 3080 with no major issues, just turn off ray tracing. The game really isn’t that bad once you turn it off.
