Capcom has released an update for Monster Hunter: Wilds which has fixed a shader compilation problem on PC, causing high CPU loads and performance issues.
I’ve read that there’s another fix that adjusted the displayed vram usage to accurately show your actual usage: previously it was showing too low. Might need to go and readjust settings if you’re now reading too high.

The performance itself has not changed really. The article is a bit misleading.
They did fix the shader compilation issues, which would caused by the previous update. Overall performance is basically the same.
