That’s a typo from an i to an o, commenter probably meant possessing but made a mistake and tried to type posseding, I suspect their native language is french given their username and “to possess” in french is “posséder”.

That being said, a possedong sounds intriguing

Well it is so you know you’re going to get something similar if you own a ps5

Latency would depend on where you are in the world

What are your gripes with it ? I’m not familiar with the universe it’s set in, but I loved the game

Yea, I read that a few weeks ago and it convinced to not touch Doom TDA. I mean, maybe pirate it, but certainly not buy it.

Wait so you can let yourself be bitten in order to slay the vampire ? I played it in 2018 but never really did the oils and stuff

And some of them are duplicates ! I discovered THREE identical locations just roaming about ! the same dungeon layout ! but different loot. Can you believe that shit

I bought it on confidence when it released. That was the last time I ever did this. I played 25 very boring hours and uninstalled it. It’s very difficult to figure out how you can fail so spectacularly with such a budget, such a long development time, and such a carte blanche with making a new universe from scratch

The stratosphere extends from about 20km to 50km from the ground, whereas 1.087 quadrillion light-years equals approximately 9,460,700,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 km. I can be flexible, but that’s just too much for an honest margin of error. So, which is it ?

All this text and I still don’t know what he’s complaining about

They can’t just be rendering on top, the visuals would clash with collisions. Some of the assets we’ve seen in captures are different enough from their legacy counterparts that they would cause all sorts of issues while playing. Also, they wouldn’t be able to increase the forest density, because trees have collisions. So it’s at least a remaster within gamebryo (which seems most likely to me, because it’s tailor-made for this kind of game) or a more profound remake within another engine (needless troubles, if you ask me, most unlikely).

Yea same, I don’t know what that last one is. So Total is the total, and Old is the part of the total that was applied before april 17th 2015. I think it makes sense. About 100$ a year, or roughly 8$ a month. I was afraid what I’d find tbh

TotalSpend 1433$ OldSpend 434$

Not sure if I should add the two ? or is the second one included in the first one ? Anyway that’s not too bad for a 14yo account

It’s always weird hearing for the first time about a game that’s been super popular overseas for 28 years.

Would love to try Naheulbeuk (many youth memories of the audio adventure) but reluctant to install yet another app/launcher, especially from Amazon (some people are trying to get a boycott going since yesterday). The first game was really cool apparently

I don’t think it was a problem in Morrowind, iirc there was no scaling at all, NPCs just existed at a set level so different areas of the map opened up to you naturally as you leveled up. It’s been a minute since I played through it so I might be mistaken but I don’t remember it being a problem, as opposed to OPblivion

If my memory serves right the IWHBYD skull was datamined, not naturally found.
As for the painted backdrops in some cutscenes, the choice over a fully modeled environment makes sense in the context of the original release, the game ran at around 720p and you could barely tell. There’s another couple of these skyboxes later (start and end of the final level, “Halo”). I personally miss that in games today, I like painted art

Yea 3 is amazing, especially in coop. Physics glitches are almost canonical ! Reach you will have a great time with too, it’s less space opera and more saving pvt ryan but the narrative is intense and beautiful. 4 isn’t bad, but the second to second combat is way less varied and fun than previous games, specifically the new enemies. Perhaps it shines in coop, I don’t know

Absolutely, I can relate. How well does Doom 2016 run on the steam deck ?
