Does “older games” only mean the initial public release? So world of Warcraft, Dota 2, Minecraft… all those games that are constantly updated etc. too?

Because that would be a really useless statistic. Many games are not a one time release and done thing anymore. They evolve over time. The games I listed have large player bases.

I do not know, since he never actually explained what his point is. Maybe, maybe not, we will never know, he just wants to say something and I move on.

I do not understand you. So many things have no inherent value but still cost arbitrarily much?

No need to keep going when you compare today to 2008. Shifting the goal post from interactive NPCs to animated cutscenes only confirmes that.

Mate, LLMs are really good for creative stuff. And they improved SO much over the last 2 years. How could you even think to say “they will never”? You can already have conversations with AI, you could a year ago. Now the context window is MASSIVE, you are going to talk for a long time before that runs out at 200k tokens. Let alone methods to condense this down to only relevant information, which would essentially give it infinite memory about what you talk about, easily in the millions of words.

Obviously you get downvoted, but just as obviously this is the future. Nonsense static responses are useless, having actual responses that match what happens would take immersion to a whole new level.

Handcrafted can still use any sort of (power)tool. The actual difference is that it is low volume instead of mass production, even if the same tools are used.

So what about actual pictures that were printed? 3D models someone printed?

Anyway, for most maps we should get pretty close. But the game is not getting any younger. The older it gets, the fewer still care/play, the fewer could restore the game.

What are you talking about? If the developer says XYZ are stolen/bla keys of course steam has to do that? Stop trying to put blame on steam here, they did everything right. First help the developer and then go back once it was clear they were doing bullshit. Not saying steam is a saint, but holy fuck are they the best of all of them by a long shot.

Mellow_Online1 Officer 20 Sep, 2017 @ 1:55pm Update: Valve has stepped in and keys have been reinstated, previous owners of the game should now have it in their library

Seems like the developer was dumb and steam did everything right…?

While a DSLR and similar devices have a dynamic range of something like 14 and more bits at ISO 100, where you lose a whole lot when compressing to 8 bits of a JPG, raws from smartphones contain next to no additional information. Actually the JPG is usually better because of how well tuned the post processing is. Giving me better control over white balance while taking the picture is the only thing that is really missing.

So many games now do not even have any way to effectively communicate, which I find even worse. I found so many good friends while gaming, all impossible in those games where you end up with random people game after game with no communication.

You seem to thinking I somehow like or whatever Russia? I am saying this so people remember that most are there for the money, not because someone forces them. Stop letting them off the hook, blaming someone else.

There are no blocking units. POWs do not talk about that. There is one sketchy video. It is not real. They really want to fight this war, based on their indoctrination and upbringing, thinking how much better they are and how Ukrainians and everyone else is below them and they deserve everything.

Even during the battle for Stalingrad, when it was actually used/invented, was it not used in the way people portray it in the current war.

“all of which are currently in service” you mean like T54s? Saying that is absurd, even if you talk about Russia specifically. T34s are used elsewhere, let’s see when Russia starts fielding them.

Usage triples <-> 15 % increase

Pick one. Triple is 300 % increase. Article says 15 % is the proportion using them, not the increase.

What was their job at NYT? What do artists do there? Why do they need so many?

What, there is nothing wrong with your device… but I do not want to give you anything under warranty… Let me just put a scratch there real quick while you come back from showing me where the breakers are. feel free to watch it here in an it’s glory

Ah yes correct, OsmAnd. Sharing should work manually, but not automated I guess?

Have fun selling 8000 individual CPUs on eBay, so handling, storage, shipping… and even if that is for free it would only be 1/4 of what they paid. Not too mention that flooding the marked will mean the pieces goes down.

I did not watch it. I played that game many years ago. I also played other games that die/do the same thing. I also know about many other games that do it. Which is why I am fed up with this nonsense. They are destroying the market for early access the same way advertisers destroy their marked with more and more absurd ads.

Does not matter, it is laughable. These words completely lost their meaning. A game is made public, reaches it’s peak and then slowly drifts into obscurity. So the live cycle of most games. And at the end of that, after many years, it is still not actually released.

Why is “in the” not capitalized but “For Those” is? To me, that means it is part of a name. Like the name of a game “For Those bla”, making it confusing to read.
