I’m one of the fanboys that demands an easy mode so I can get more of my friends gud (and addicted) at FromSoft games and come play with me.
Why should my friends have to put as many hours as I had to, in order to become less bad at FromSoft games? There’s no sense in it, yeah I can carry them and give them all the info they could need, but that takes away from the fun of figuring things out and becoming a parry god.
I do agree with you though, the elitism of many in the community needs to stop (or at least be toned down).
The Blitz perk allows you to teleport short distances to attack with VATS, when you put a second level into the Blitz perk the range is significantly larger.
I have a grognak the barbarian build that I added blitz to, it is fucking hilarious and one shots most things, if you put enough points into AP you can teleport to multiple targets in one go.
Absolutely sickening level of badass. Blitz can be unlocked at level 3 I believe.
The pro is the one to get I’ll tell you, unless you have a Z-Fold, in which case get the X2C (I think) that just released, that one’s got the port on the left, meaning when unfolded it sits with the screen unfolded upwards.
The standard X2 has buttons for the triggers, pro has travel. The joysticks aren’t hall effect on mine iirc, but they’re very accurate and it’s surprisingly comfortable. You can also swap the ABXY around as they’re magnetic button caps, and they’re held in so well I need pliers to pull em. Only issue I’ve got is left on the D-pad is a little finicky and it makes combos a bit difficult at times on some games.
You can mod the X2 pro so it stretches out and fits a 10/11" tablet but it’ll stretch the springs out, or add fans if your phone gets a bit hot like mine under heavy load (I’ll likely be adding a 30mm fan or two).
I give it a 9/10, -1 for D-pad jank.
Made a comment in another thread the other day, but as a gamesir x2 pro owner the telescopic controllers are really good now too.
I got the USBC one so no input delay or battery to recharge, cost me $100AUD, built solid and there are mod guides out there now (I’m gonna add a 30mm fan or two to keep my phone cool it can get a bit hot under heavy load.
Cheers for the in depth response! I can’t decide if you’ve made my decision making harder, easier, or some combination of both.
In the rare occasions UBO/Adguard let one slip through, I find 99% of the time a refresh solves it (different ad it does pick up maybe?) Failing that, I just wait for an update and that process has yet to fail me.
I’ll have a look around, my server is not yet entered into service, but I am looking to run Pihole network wide, I have yet to decide on a DNS for it, but I will certainly give NextDNS a looksee as a starting point to see if it fits my use case.
I think you’ve done readers a service, I checked your comment before even looking at the article, as I’ve seen so many garbage articles posted here (no hate Lemmings, it’s not your garbage writing, it’s bad journos doing bad journo stuff).
I appreciate you fam, and those complaining of ads need (on Android at least) to use an ad blocking DNS (I use Adguard DNS) in conjunction with an actual ad blocker.
I find it laughable that there are people out there in 2023 not using some form of ad blocking.
The extra A is for abomination.
