That “Atari” was already Infogrames buying itself a new name in the early 00s. It had already changed hands a number of times since 70s/80s Atari, and had basically nothing to do with it anymore.

Yeah i know. I meant more in terms of peope who don’t know the way these two are connected.

Atari has had some very sketchy business practices and screwed over consumers a bunch of times. Most people don’t know they are effectively the same company as infogrames

These are just logos, names, and brands. They have no real meaning behind them. The people and the company are still the same as it always was.
