I haven’t read the article, but by the headline I can say: If I like a game, I probably will buy its DLCs even thought I know I will no play them, why? Just because I love the game and I want to help their developers. But if I know an developer is shitty why I would spend money on him? I believe is simply as that but I can be wrong.

This isn’t talking about gambling stuff, no. To be clear, there’s definitely a fuckton of money to be made off gamblers, but this is just about people buying appreciation “DLC” like soundtracks.
