Some of these games, like Starfield, cost an absolute fortune ($120 AUD where I live on Steam). I’m simply not going to pay that much for a game but will happily pick up something like Sea of Stars for less than half the price.
The price of this game makes it one you should definitely be a patient gamer on. Not only will you save a ton of money but it’ll probably be Denuvo free eventually too.
Firefox by a huge margin, because it’s integrated into how I use the internet so well now I don’t even notice it’s a FOSS app.
As far as more niche apps goes, Joplin. Since they added WYSIWYG editing it’s an easy Evernote replacement that just does what I want in a note taker/web clipper app.
I pretty much don’t even buy a game after it’s been launched now and I wait a couple of months to see what happens. They haven’t bought out a game since Halo that I’ve cared enough about to even buy on day 1 and it’s not like I don’t have a fat library of other games I already enjoy.
