Yep - and I recall arguing at the time with one of the Nova people sent to Reddit to try and sell us on the idea that everything was just fine, and nothing would change, and hey, look over there, a huge distracting thing…
It was bullshit then, and so it’s proved. What a waste of a truly exceptional launcher.
Agreed, that’s exactly what I do too - I use icon swipe all the time though, so I’m confused why you don’t have it.
Admittedly, I swipe folder icons rather than individual apps, but it definitely works, here’s a quick video (link lives for 2 days): https://streamable.com/liybvg
EDIT - looking again, I can’t set swipes on individual app icons either, just the folder icons. Weird, never noticed that before!
It’s a live wallpaper maker, it’s really good - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.kustom.wallpaper
Agreed. I’ve been following along with Firefox’s belated, but very welcome development on PWAs for FF on desktop.
I’m not technical at all, so I can’t comment on specifics, but as an end user, I LOVE using PWAs for email, calendar, Teams, etc, rather than the app. Unfortunately I still use Chrome for them but once FF gets it sorted I’ll aim to move away completely.

They might not be found guilty. Hell, depending on the specifics of the case and the wording of the rules, they might not even BE guilty (at least technically).
And if they are found guilty, we don’t know what the punishment will be. It could be any of the things you say won’t happen.
Although clearly for a lot of people nothing will be viewed as enough of a punishment.
Just because the hearing has finished does not mean that there’s a conclusion yet. Having heard all evidence it’ll now need to be considered in its entirety and written up into a final decision, plus any potential penalties.
You don’t say that a jury trial is dodgy if there’s not a guilty verdict and sentencing within 5 minutes of closing arguments.
He did it twice.
The first time it was to Liverpool fans, in response to them chanting “You’re getting sacked in the morning”. It was all entirely good natured banter to my eye - he had already chuckled at the song and turned to have a wee dig back at them, still smiling. All in good fun, despite some people in the media and social trying to make it out to be something more confrontational.
The second time was after full time, when he went over to the City fans, and although I didn’t see it at the time, I think it was really just a sign of “we’ve achieved so much, don’t be downhearted, we’ll be back,” etc.
Dav Macgyver’s Photo Editor is pretty solid for that sort of thing. Not FOSS as far as I know, but very good. Used it for about 10 years now.
I use Total Launcher, and it has this (and in fact you can swipe in 4 directions ⬆️⬇️⬅️➡️ rather than just the 2 that Nova offers).
Means that from my home screen I could, in theory, access 48 different apps/actions/shortcuts, as well as opening the 12 folders they represent. I use about 40 of them, but it’s good to have space for more if I want it.
I use Total too - I wouldn’t say it’s quite 1:1 as it’s not as intuitive, but in terms of customisability, it’s amazing.
