There is also a rumor that said the OpenAI has changed how the model run, now user input is fed into smaller model first, then if the larger model agree with the initial result from the smaller model, then larger model will continue the calculation passed from the smaller model, which supposedly can cut down GPU time.
What are you gonna do? Disprove their claim by downloading a cracked copy of the benchmarked game and compare their performance? You can’t because no one (that I’m aware of) crack denuvo games anymore, which is why denuvo can pull off stunts like this. They’ll use new games with no crack available to “prove” their DRM has so performance penalty.
I was mostly a playstation user, so I never play any Halo game. So as soon as Halo: The Master Chief Collection (includes 6 remastered games) get 75% discount I immediately grabed it.
Also, I’ve been looking forward to try Sleeping Dogs as I played True Crime a lot back then. It’s now 85% off so I immediately grabbed it.
That doesn’t sound normal. I’m using a phone with much slower processors than yours and Google Maps doesn’t slow the phone down when navigating.
One thing to check is if your phone is overheating during navigating? Putting the phone near the windshield where it’s getting roasted by the sun while running demanding application such as Google Maps navigation might cause your phone’s temperature to spike beyond normal operating range, which cause it to throttle the CPU in order to reduce heat. If your phone is hot, try to put it in front of an AC vent or shaded area in your car.
So, these games do not ban cheaters, but instead try to inconvenience them until they stop cheating? I wonder why they don’t outright ban the cheaters. Are they afraid of getting chargebacks or refund request? Or are a huge proportion of those cheaters actually some big spender so the game companies don’t want to ban them because retaining them is more profitable?
