Which is kind of funny because that corresponds inversely with the quality of the game lol. The game director changed and they have been killing it every since

Buildcraft + IC2, my beloved

Been there, though I just took a couple hours in the shower with the enema wand set to “pressure wash”

You specifically called out PoEs passive tree, but honestly the tree isn’t the crazy complicated part of making builds–its finding combinations of mechanics that synergize above average. On the tree sure, but the gear and actual skills are really what makes it crazy. Planning around what items can have what mods and what you can reasonably expect to get on what budget is the real brain disabler for me. I love build crafting, but fuck I hate planning rare tier gear.

When he bought that Hawaiian island he sent out an email to literally all employees bragging about it. From then on I had an email rule sending anything from him to trash

Yeah headphone jack is a nice bonus, my only method of playing audio from my phone in the car is the aux cable

I got an Xperia 5 IV very recently when my Galaxy S7 died. Been happy with it. Smallest phone I could find with an SD card slot, and while it’s still larger than my old phone, the screen is the same width, just taller. Overpriced? Probably a bit. In the end though, I like it.

Towards the end of the decade Total Annihilation would be released and it’s modern day fan made remake, Beyond All Reason, is really good. Sad there’s no campaign though, I really loved the TA campaign

There’s a decent amount of slots for free through nightwave, twitch drops/gifts of the lotus of weapons/frames etc, but not enough to go the whole game on certainly, and new players won’t know how to get them. I’m LR4 without spending any money because I traded for plat a lot to buy slots, but that’s not something I expect people to do as a normal thing

They’ve been having nothing but wins for a year or two. Games at the best point it’s ever been imo! It’s actually a game I recommend now, though the rough point is still frame/weapon slots.

What else are you going to fill your hollow existence with before you kill yourself

I’d liken it a lot more to FTL or STS than hades or dead cells. The skill is in the building and planning, not in the gameplay. Making do with the resources available to you, deciding on risking a suboptimal decision now that could payoff a lot more later, and thinking about how to make what you have into a successful run is the focal point here. Whereas with hades, sure perks are nice and add to your power as you play more, but the real skill in hades is your actual gameplay with the character. Both are perfectly valid, it just sounds like you’re a person much more focused on direct action skill.

This isn’t to say that the games I mentioned don’t have that aspect too, but I find in general it’s way easier to for example play a hand in slay the spire optimally or have a fight in FTL optimally than it is to clear a room in hades or a nasty section in dead cells optimally. The skill expression is just kind of focused on a different aspect of the game. Nothing wrong with you preferring one to the other, just wanted to mention that not everyone has the same tastes =D

It has good replayability. Yeah it’s having a surge of popularity but it’s a solid game that’s pretty unique with good longevity for those who enjoy it, I think it’s going to be popular for quite a qhile and probably start getting people making inspired games in the “deckbuilding with real cards” space.

Slay the spire basically created the genre, amd there have been some very good interesting takes on the concept

Deep rock’s much less widely popular though, so it enjoys the benefits of a small, chill community

It’s pretty good! Fun for sure. I would love to have more information on what bonuses are additive and multiplicative. It’d also be nice to be able to remove upgrade options during a run.

Really? I’ve honestly hated driller so far and think he’s the weakest lol

There’s deep lore theory about karl and a glypid queen but nothing concrete

Can no longer join any games, get failed to join lobby both on friends, with randoms, and with quickplay

It’s pretty simple, if they’re being used to replace benches to stop people sleeping there, they’re hostile. I certainly wouldn’t mind having them in addition though.

It depends on whether the game improves. Cyberpunk got patched into a decent state, no mans sky as well. I doubt that’ll happen with starfield, but maybe.
