And those same people will often also refuse to pay for services.

It’s a pay or become the product world out there, site hosting ain’t free.

I mean it’s good for predicting climate models, but it certainly uses a lot of power to do so, which is the main issue with AI.

It’s just an Android device technically, which means you can probably break into it

Android is not Linux, it is derived from it. The two are not API compatible, and Android ripped out most of what made Linux Linux to be able to support binary blob drivers, direct Dalvik JVM support in the kernel and other funky stuff.

It’s as much Linux as macOS’ XNU kernel is FreeBSD.

The fact that they have to advertise the Android version tells me this will never see a single update.

I like that the option is there, don’t be an elitist.

I use Kagi and DuckDuckGo, but some users may still be on Google.

I want freaking suggestions from the browser though, in a way that respects my privacy

It’s a shame most religious texts frequently call for violence then, isn’t it?

Have you given the bible or the quran a serious read?

I use Kagi, and so far, it seems to casually switch it back with that message about once a month.

I do hope to see more competition in the Linux gaming space. It’s not good long term to fully rely on Valve for everything.

To each their own, I like having as little as possible on my desktop while still being usable :P

Kinda jealous of the HDR support as a GNOME user though, rooting for both sides.

Would the USB version work fine? Seems relatively affordable for what it is.

Thank you, I’ve been recommended Frigate recently, I’ll take a look at it :)

Looks like the full retail copy is $135 CAD (I have two cameras), but it doesn’t support Linux as far as I can tell :(

I’m open to closed source if I can host it locally and costs less than $200 + the cost of the cameras :P

And yes, my home server running Ubuntu does have an Intel iGPU as it’s a Lenovo ThinkCentre M900

In other news, can someone recommend a good, affordable open-source stack for security cameras with local recording to a home server (remote access would be a bonus)

Honestly I could see radon for comments only. It makes it clear that it’s a comment by the font alone.

Yes, happens all the time.

Some sort of malware will always pop up before the app you’re looking for.

You’d have to look it up for your make and model, but previous gen Hyundai Kia Genesis tend to run on QNX. Don’t know what the new gen runs on.

Apparently some head units even run Linux!

My experience has been that anything on QNX works fine, and anything else is hit or miss.

Could at least offer it, I don’t consider SMS secure, and push notifications require that you have a supported mobile device.

Not Invented Here syndrome.

Everyone must reinvent the wheel.

Thank you, I hadn’t come across the announcement yet, first I’ve heard of CS2 is here and today :P

I think so, I heard they nuked the CS:GO listing, so they probably reused the same listing.
