I am patiently waiting for Kingdom deliverance to get released and a couple of weeks or months to see what the reviews say about the state of the game. Then I will decide whether to buy it or not.

Another two games on my radar are RDR 1 and Indiana Jones, Pentiment and Slay the Princes but waiting for better discounts on those.

AMD is notorious for screwing their releases, they usually announce prices very close to NVIDIA, then reviewers give them subpar reviews and after a couple of months they start to lower the prices but it is usually too late and very few reviewers are updating their verdicts so people think they are still crap even though now the price is a lot more competitive making the whole package a bargain.

I don’t know why they do it that way, and I can only imagine that this hurts their brand and sales.

That’s finally some good news in the dGPU department. This GPU would have been terrific if it was released 1-2 years ago. I really hope they succeed and continue developing GPUs. We need so much a good competition to NVIDIA.

They fixed CP2077 and as a matter of fact the game is pretty good, plus they are a European company so we should support them.

I was hoping for Eskel or Letho to be honest. Ciri is a safe choice but a bit on the boring side. Eskel would have been a lot more multi-layered protagonist and dialogues would have been funnier.

Enjoy it, man. I hope you are happy with your purchase and serves you well for a long time time

Watch how NVIDIA releases plenty of GPUs with only 8 GB of VRAM next year for 300+ and claim that’s absolutely fine and the consumers should be happy. Same level of shenanigans like Apple insistence that 8 GB in their laptops were sufficient for ages.

Or simply they used an AI and set the tone in the prompt.

Not to mention that if you want to play it now, you need to cough up 99 bucks.

But yes, I trust Steam reviews more

That’s going to be an utter disgrace if NVIDIA again releases a 300+ card with only 8 Gb of VRAM. But I think Intel will compete more with AMD who aren’t so stingy on the VRAM.

NVIDIA being greedy is nothing new. Last gen, the only worthwhile card was 4090. The rest was simply overpriced crap. I don’t expect them to make any better next year, that’s because they have almost complete monopoly on the market. And that’s bad for everyone except their shareholders.

Mad Max, a really cool and chill game and a no brainer for 2 bucks.

And it would have been great if it was released 2 or even a year ago. Now it will have a hard time competing against the new generation that’s about to be released next year. I wish them luck though. We deserve healthy competition in this segment.

Witcher 3 and not so distant second Red Dead Redemption 2.

The story and the world are amazing. Combat is a bit clunky but not too bad.

Man, Witcher 3 is an amazing game and a lot of the secondary quests had a pretty alluring story. I read the books too, but the game is really great. Just the combat system is a bit tedious but apart from that the game world and the story was absolutely beautiful

With all due respect but no indie studio can create a game of this magnitude. I mean there is a lot of work put into it. Whether it was worth it is a completely different story though.

This works for PC but not for PS. PS games are highly optimised to target the current generation of consoles and there is very little initiative for developers to target a new console platform unless Sony sells tens of millions of those, which I very much doubt.

CMV but the PS5 Pro is a completely pointless release. The only reason I see is for Sony to try to justify the higher price tag on the PS6 once it releases.

I remember playing this game and was smitten by how good and ahead of time this game was. Sands of time was also very enjoyable but I didn’t play the new version.

The combat is actually pretty good, the graphics and style is amazing. The story is a bit on the meh side. Overall, I think this game is worth it at a discount. I think I bought it for something like 20€ on a disc with the DLC and am planning to resell it at some point.

The real question is did he do this sincerely or because it is hurting him financially. I am all up for forgiveness, etc. but only if this sudden self awareness is authentic.

I liked the game, took it at a deep discount and played it on the Deck. It is more like an interactive movie, not so much like a game, but for me it was worth it and the story was engaging. I just wish it was easier or faster to change some of your choices to check other endings.

My guess is that they will be charging either 59.99 or 49.99 at best

If you like those types of games, you should also try “Detroit become human”, and “Life is Strange”

And thinking that the majority of the players who spent those money are not earning their own money, it’s just sad. Same bullshit like NFT.

The PS 5 price was very reasonable, considering how expensive it was to build a PC at that time, now the PS5 Pro is a completely different beast and I do agree it makes very little sense.

You can install Plex/Jellyfin on the PC and get a much better experience, watch on the phone, tablet, serve multiple clients, etc.

So your argument is unsubstantial.

The best part of the PS5 is that you can buy and sell discs at much more reasonable prices.

But my feeling is that they will soon start shipping consoles without a disk drive. Maybe PS 6 will be the last one.

800€ in Europe, that’s a hard NO. Plus devs will still target the PS5 for optimising their games. This release was completely unnecessary.

The only reason why it exists is perhaps to try to normalise the higher prices for the PS 6.

Same with Witcher 3. That was an amazing game. Or Skyrim 5.

Firefox Nightly because of the extensions, Libredirect, uBlock Origin, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, etc.

The amount of hate for this game here is unreal. People will just shit post and downvote any positive news for this game just because it is built by a Chinese gaming studio instead of actually celebrating the fact that the game is engaging and not riddled by microtransactions.

Witch hunt 101.

On the Deck, Skyrim with mods and specifically beyond Skyrim Bruma. I have figured out how to install mods and you can sink a lot of hours in good ol’ Skyrim.

I also play Life is Strange: True Colours on the Deck.

Additionally the farmer was replaced is a fun little Python like game where you need to write Python like code to automate the manual labor on your farm. But this I play on the desktop.

Pixel 7 unstable network quality and loss of audio
My phone is losing regularly GSM network during calls and people are saying that they cannot hear me. Is there any fix of this? I have already tried to disable WiFi Calling, 5G, restart the phone, etc. but those problems persist. I wasn't able to find reliable information on the internet that could help. If someone is experiencing similar issues and found a fix, let me know. Alternatively, I can also install some other ROM, but I want to keep this as a last option. In this case feel free to recommend any good and stable ROMs.

Detroit: Become Human
This game was for some time in my watch list, but I have never pulled the plug, and oh boy, was I in for a treat. The game is very interesting depicting a dystopian future, where we are all headed, with an even bigger divide between rich and poor. A future completely driven by technological innovation for better or worse. The story gives you interesting perspectives from both the fortunate and less fortunate people and gives you an idea about their emotional struggles, thoughts, etc. The game is story driven and it is not competitive or fast paced. It is for those of you who enjoy the good story and to see the consequences of their actions or words. I really recommend it and I dread the day, I will reach the end the same way I dread the day I finish an extremely captivating book, as it will leave a small void in my soul.

Share your Tasker Automations
I am fairly new to Tasker and I would like to hear about your clever automations. My automations are mostly location, WiFi and time based ones. Additionally, I have the Google Play version of Tasker, which has some limitations about the Bluetooth, which are coming from the Play store policies. Do you think there are any security drawbacks if I install it over GitHub?

Games with Stories
Am I the only one who enjoys games that have engaging stories. Sometimes I even turn the difficulty down, so that I enjoy the story and not struggle so much. I mean challenging games can be fun sometimes, but nowadays I just feel that my life offers me enough struggles not to want another one while playing. For me games offer an escape of reality and I like them chill and casual but still with an engaging story.
