I loved the Guybrush Threepwood reference they had in the game. It’s off to the side of the image you have there with the portrait paintings if memory serves!
Like the others have said, it’s pretty much identical. What makes it perfect on mobile (imo) is dragging the cards feels more natural (especially being a board gamer).
Always love when a new Good Blood video hits. This one is a great deep dive onto the design philosophy behind the Zelda series and the team's struggle to hit the right balance between freedom and guided play.
SkillUp’s “This week in video games” videos are great both for news about the industry, and what’s coming up and worth keeping an eye out for.
Listening to podcasts is another good one. I listen to MinnMax every week in particular.
Sadly for me unless they’re fixing their terrible networking/co op system and adding an option to turn off the insanely annoying invasion system in giving it a pass.
As much as I enjoyed the base game, I don’t think I can put up with that along with having to relearn how to play.
I hate other souls like games but managed my way through Elden Ring because of this and what /u/ampersandrew said about going away and coming back after exploring and leveling a bit more.
You could buy it early access to give them the support (and get it cheaper) but wait for 1.0 to play it? Supposing you have the willpower I wouldn’t that is 😅
