Can anyone tell me why such a basic feature is so hard to find or does not come by default in phones nowadays?
Edit : I meant app lock which uses fingerprint or pattern. I want to apply it to Gallery and other apps. I already have Shelter running on my phone and also have secure folder, but that's not what I'm for. Sorry if my question wasn't clear.
Assassin’s Mirage. It’s not good but not bad as well. Better to wait for a sale and complete it ASAP before Ubisoft shuts down the servers in a few years.
For example, I'm using a mp3 player and as I try to delete songs, it shows a message "Failed to delete file". I have faced similar issues in other apps as well. Is there a work around for this? Also here is the obligatory " fuck you google"
Edit : Thanks for explaining everyone. I'll raise the issue with the app developer.
I'm thinking of using Shizuku to give root access to Automate app. My doubt is will it backfire in some way. I'm trying to automate enabling and disabling of Work Profile based on a schedule which frustratingly is missing on Samsung. I'm trying to run the adb commands "am stop-user -f 10" using privileged user block in Automate. Can anyone comment on this? Thanks in advance.
Very few phones had pop up camera I belive. So that itself narrows down your list. Add removable battery to it, even fewer. 3.5 mm jack, even tinier. SD card slot, maybe you can count on one hand.
Shelter may have been taken down a while ago, not sure if by Google or the developer.
According to the Island developer Island was removed because it's not supposed to use
REQUEST_INSTALL_PACKAGES, so it's probably the same for Shelter. They're appealing but if/when it returns it might be "with limited functionality" which one would be able to restore with an "extension" downloaded on github but at that point why not just install the apk from github in the first place.
As for Shelter and Insular (fork of Island), they're also available on F-Droid.
Wonder if they're cracking down on these "hacks" to leverage the work profile on purpose, like they do local VPNs that block ads.
Mishaal Rahman: LC3 is the standard codec for BLE Audio, while Opus is recommended for head tracked spatial audio due to its low latency. Surprised there's no aptX HD here, though, since Qualcomm submitted the encoder to AOSP
