Really curious what a $3000 performance bulld looks like

No, it’s a $30 indie game.

Each expansion more or less adds extensions to the game the fundamentally expand on the mechanics and systems within the games. I’m okay paying for that, personally.

X4 foundations and relevant DLC. I have multiple saves with over a year worth of playtime

I was specifically referencing the comment above saying they wanted a free to play game with no micro transactions- which means no monetization model.

I mean, ok?

You can’t just expect things to be provided for free, that isn’t how it works

They’ve gotta make money to support the game somehow

Okay but if my pronoun of choice isn’t put into every system I interact with under every circumstance, I will have an emotional breakdown

Yo I don’t have much to add yet but this post is fucking interesting so I will be checking back

disable it

I don’t think I will

Seriously though flash bang white being the standard for webpages is enraging

Ok no but a wireless mouse is so much better, rechargeable batteries are the way

Idk man i have a pirate box running public trackers and it finds everything eventually

“You mean people DONT like a thick, heavy phone with a garbage camera and poor battery life? Well obviously, everyone else is wrong”

ITT people mad at Linus for pointing out all the reasons the phone wouldn’t appeal to a mass market audience

So if it’s being implemented the way this article discusses, this may actually be a good thing in some ways

Yeah the up front cost of the type of infrastructure necessary to handle the player volume they have is not only expensive, but requires a ton of expertise to be done correctly, AND requires lots individual geographically discrete locations to keep latency down.

The fear for them would be investing in all that infrastructure just for the game to fall off in popularity after a few years.

The capitalist bullshit is the point

Honest to god, the browser that wins is the one with the least bullshit popping up in my face when I open it

You’re an open book for whomever is operating that VPN. If you’re using a service that’s free, you’re the product. Just go with a privacy oriented VPN, they’re worth the money.
