“Easy mode” aka “I have a full-time job and a family to take care of, I’d like to make some progress in this game with the small amount of free time I have”. Not everyone has the time to sit down for a couple hours to grind out mechanics.

Seeing as Palworld is backed by Sony and I believe Microsoft now, it’s not just Nintendo against Palworld. The Big 3 are all filthy rich and about to spend a lot of money fighting each other. I certainly wish Palworld the best and hope their new backers back them up to push for a win.

I’m confused how $17 is considered expensive. If that was a monthly price it would be expensive. $17 for a year? Cheapest subscription I’ve ever paid for, and I’m happy to do it as a subscription to continually support the developer.

I’m really surprised I haven’t had any major framerate drops in TotK. I’m using my launch-day system, so as old as they get, and playing hand-held almost exclusively it’s been pretty darn smooth.
