That is such a depressing way to look at things

That’s like telling me to not read sequels to books.

Just because it shares mechanics and characters does not make it the same game.

Yeah, the doing it in secret can definitely be worrying and flame rumors, I agree. I’m being optimistic that the new owner is someone close to them and they’re still working out details before announcing who they are

You make it sound like the site has been destroyed and enshitefied. Do we have any proof of such so far? Or can we put our trust in the guy who made it to hand it off to someone he trusts to do good by it? Everyone is freaking out about a possibility, which isn’t without cause since we’ve seen what can happen with other companies, but so far there is no need to pull out pitchforks.

Exactly. We’re hearing about the edge cases so far, which there will ALWAYS be some for any product.

Not defending Nintendo here. I’d love to be playing the new Mario Kart, but not at those prices.

Guy worked on the site for 24 years. Think he deserves some nice things himself (like reclaiming his life)

Disco Elysium was my first thought as well. Such great voice acting! It is easily my favorite game, and now I’m looking forward to Hopetown

Seeing as Palworld is backed by Sony and I believe Microsoft now, it’s not just Nintendo against Palworld. The Big 3 are all filthy rich and about to spend a lot of money fighting each other. I certainly wish Palworld the best and hope their new backers back them up to push for a win.

Same, popped up while in the middle of Satisfactory

We got a Sceptre brand TV from Walmart a few years ago that does the trick. 4k, 50 inch, no smart features.

Spigen has been my goto for years, love their cases

Running a dedicated server for my friend group, and it’s pretty fun!

Oh dang, I love these! Got a link to the files? They’d make a great birthday gift

I’m confused how $17 is considered expensive. If that was a monthly price it would be expensive. $17 for a year? Cheapest subscription I’ve ever paid for, and I’m happy to do it as a subscription to continually support the developer.

I’m really surprised I haven’t had any major framerate drops in TotK. I’m using my launch-day system, so as old as they get, and playing hand-held almost exclusively it’s been pretty darn smooth.
