You should take a look into KSP and Rimworld modding. Adding emtirely new physics is only the cup of the cake there.

Disable those effects in the settings then? And Reshade’s LevelsPlus filter “removes” the gray/blue layer which most games have.

That’s the point; LCD/LED don’t stutter but smear. It’s some optical effect, because LCD don’t “refresh” but always have the static image until next frame, unlike CRT.

Ah, my bad.

I mean, engineering always takes longer than planned, be it a bridge, a tunnel or a software project.
You think we could learn something from that.

want to bump a stable-ish 80-90fps to stable 120fps, and again drops power and temps slightly. That sometimes does cause smearing but for the most part I don’t notice enough to be annoyed.

So why do you want high fps? The issue with low fps is, that it causes smearing.

I don’t notice smearing much and run my games/display at 30 fps.

And then there are games with motion blur effect, silly, right?

They do notice but release still because schedule and we can patch it later. It’s a company culture thing.

Am i the only one a bit worried about the centralization on a few general engines?

It will have “improved visuals, higher resolution, and all the other possibilities Unreal has to offer”

Optionally, right? Or will it not run on my notebook anymore?

Duplicated again and again for each level. Which is what i meant with “Ark-style clusterfuck”.

So a Ark-style clusterfuck? Technically, of course. Even with 4k, there’s no reason for it to be this large except no optimization been done.

There’s Skyblivion and similiar for Elder Scrolls and A Tale of two Wastelands for Fallout. Is there more awesomeness i didn’t know about?

Not without NAM, it fixes some restrictions implemented due to hardware constraints then.

Most download 1000s of retro games for you, because they aren’t allowed to ship them preinstalled. But they are usually part of the deal.

If you use Windows as mere game launcher, you better have a application firewall set to whitelist Steam only anyway.

Ok, but why is such an old game still $10 even with 75% off on GoG?

Except Chrono Trigger. But that’s because it’s a Windows port of a Android port of the DS version. From steam reports, it’s stuttery with occasional crashes. Better run the original on a emulator.

Wanna give me 1 million of that bonus? I deserve it more than you.

That there’s still no Ski Resort Simulator or something like that? Could be RollerCoaster/SimCity-esque.

Any Android Qr app (preferably Open Source) that allows decoding via “open with” or share?

Any keyboard with undo functionality?
cross-posted from: https://lemmy.ml/post/21015575 > Hackers Keyboard has that via ctrl+z, but only in horizontal mode. For this only i had my Galaxy S3 in horizontal per default. But can't do that with modern phones' aspect ratio and i'm missing undo since then.

[solved] Any keyboard with undo functionality?
Hackers Keyboard has that via ctrl+z, but only in horizontal mode. For this only i had my Galaxy S3 in horizontal per default. But can't do that with modern phones' aspect ratio and i'm missing undo since then. Edit: i'll go with Heliboard for now.
