I love Radio Garden for exploring worldwide. You can search locations for stations via a globe gui, or genres in a search bar, so many ways to find music.

Truly a fun way to Internet radio.

I tried that but then there was a launcher and the launcher loaded okay but then when you tried to run the game from the launcher it didn’t run but just crashed…

What about my alternatively acquired games? I’ve tried using Mint and Steam with whatever that is that runs compatibility. Sometimes doesn’t work for them.

But, can I install it on a badger?

As a human being living in the real world, that’s a terrible idea. Please never take it out of the house.

“Aim for the moon, and if you miss, you’ll end up floating in the endless empty void of space.”

I didn’t count, is that how many there are? WOW, that’s a big ask. I think I’ll do my part and die someday to make room for another whatever this game is we’re talking about player

10% of all global gaming revenue? Does that include mobile games?

How close are they to that now? It doesn’t seem like they’re even as big as Minecraft.

Well I just got back to it and all the downvotes. It meant that I am so stupid, I didn’t notice it in the settings. I was rolling my eyes at myself.

Just another evidence that I am not only not a great googler, and also not a great finder of settings in an app, but also a very poor communicator!

Think you can for calling my attention to this horribly worded reply.

Duhh, that’s what I’m using. Thanks 🙄

Edit: I am so sorry Joshua falcon. I was exasperated myself and how stupid I was not to notice that, and I wasn’t careful about the way I worded it. I really was thanking you, and I was rolling my eyes at myself.

I have a Galaxy S23 and I want to use an OpenStreetMap app for driving. But the phone keeps timing out. I don’t want to change my time out on my phone in general. I would like my phone to stay active.
The same way it does in Google maps, and in Waze. But I can't seem to find a setting on the phone that will do that for any other apps, and I can't find any information through internet searches that leave me that direction. As usual, they show me what they think I ought to be looking for, which is how to lock an app. Not the question I asked, Google (or anybody else). Is it impossible or does anybody have a tip? Not looking to go down the unlocking my phone root access path either. It's not that big a deal, I could turn on trusted devices, or extend unlock, but those aren't the solutions I'm looking for.
fedilink

Is that a good deal? I mean, it says “multi-million” and then it sells for less than 1/2 million, so I’m guessing good deal.

IDK, part it out on eBay?

Will Smith is a “past” celebrity, relying on his name, infamy, and horning in on already proven commodities.

Bad Boys for Life, Aladdin, Suicide Squad, (oh, and “King Richard” lol, we’ve all seen that!)

Those are his “popular” movies since 2009. Put a fork in him. He’s done. He should enter politics.

It cost a quarter a play. Do you know how much money It would take to become that proficient? In '80s money?

Oh gosh, they bought a computer game company and they don’t want to pay to support existing customers? They don’t want to maintain accounts that represent HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of hours of creativity, a long-time faithful user fanbase, because they now feel it’s miserable unrewarding janitorial work?

It’s MINECRAFT! Do you even know what people do on Minecraft? It’s not saving progress we’re talking about here. It’s destroying an ARCHIVE. It’s a life some kid has lived in there.

You make it sound like it’s perfectly reasonable to ditch this community because it’s an expense and an inconvenience. Get lost with your Microsoft defense. They don’t need you. They don’t give a shit.

This is bullshit. What could it possibly matter to them, other than to force people onto their miserable platform. Bastards.

I had dual-booting Linux systems for a long time, and I finally just stopped because of convenience. I had an Atari 520ST (c.1985) that had a better gui than Linux does. I want Linux; hell, I NEED it, but I don’t want to have trouble with drivers and shit not working and learning command-line commands. And make it intuitive, how am I, an ordinary guy, supposed to know that “Sudo” gives me administrative rights? Even installing software has a learning curve.

I keep waiting for a populist distro that can bridge the gap between Linux and the casual user; even, heaven forbid, grandma and grandpa. I’ll probably end up being full Linux soon because I can probably get there (in 2-4x longer than most of you) and Windows is actively trying to consume their customers.

Rant over. Love+frustration. Peace ✌️
