So here’s my take: I never want to play a game with other people unless we’re sitting on the same couch. Because of that, I have no need for any of my systems to be permanently connected to the internet. The requirement for always-online systems is just ridiculous. The full game should be on the disk, and the only time I should need an internet connection is to download DLC or if the dev team releases a patch that addresses major issues or improves the gameplay experience.

You have one story, thats it. They can update that game til PS7 is a thing and you will have 1 story. I love the game but the replay value is minimal, at best

That’s by design. Force your opposition to sell, bankrupt them and write off the loses. Shrink the industry and force players to sign up for your subscription services.

I’m not a fan, but it’s hard to see this wasn’t their plan from the get go

I wrote that then deleted it cause I wasn’t sure how you address it internationally. Where PBS is broadcast in the USA, the internet is open to the world.

But, you’re right! It should be publicly funded. I’d have no problem with my tax dollars going towards that.

Internet Archive and Wikipedia are two websites that need to exist in perpetuity.

It’s not just an immersive game that allows me to get lost riding on horseback, the game is absolutely beautiful. Sunsets across valleys or over mountain ranges, NPC encounters around every turn. RDR2 gave us a world that felt alive and it’s a game that fast traveling just didn’t seem necessary

While I generally prefer open world sandbox games, the screenshots definitely make me want to see more

Idk man, but in the end these players are going to wake up and realize that they’re going to actually play in Saudi Arabia. There are things you can say, I’m sure, that are positive about the country. There are also many things, you can say, that aren’t. Playing in Saudi Arabia means these players have given up their voices. You will not here any socially conscious remarks from anyone playing there. It’s a black hole for human rights and anyone that accepts a contract feeds into it. As I’ve heard it called before, Saudi Arabia is sportswashing and we shouldn’t let a couple of footballers or golfers try to convince us otherwise

I never understood Twitter and I never want to. It’s like that tube machine at the bank. People bundle up a little sentence then shoot it out into the Twittashphere. Why? I’m with you, screenshot something interesting and leave the rest in the dumpster fire where it belongs

I’m an Orlando City fan; if you told me we signed Messi I would have been ecstatic!! Suarez and Busquets not so much.

The way I see MLS there are 3 goals:

  1. Develop great young players who eventually end up in top flight European leagues

  2. Bring in retiring talent from top flight leagues to help develop young players

  3. Work to make the divide between 1 & 2 as close as possible

(4 Overlap 1 & 2) (5 Become a top flight league)

Mobile games aren’t games, or at least not what I’d consider a game. Mobile “games” are simple puzzles, swipe action fighters and click-and-wait builders. They are built around the concept of microtransactions and are in place to make developers money and to be a time-suck for the end players.
