Shadows is them getting desperate. That game had been requested and expected since the ezio storyline when they came for him. Instead they released a side scroller and didn’t think twice about it. Now they’re struggling immensely and are trying to recover. I really want it to flop to hopefully drive a nail in the coffin.
The movie feels like it was made after they picked the cast then curated it to the actors instead of the source material. I know everyone seems to like the cast choices but I genuinely think it’s the worst line up they could have done. The closet to acceptable would be jack black. I honestly don’t get why they wouldn’t just do the voice actor for him or find someone who is close to a perfect match.
I’ve got a home copy to watch tonight for free and I only have that because a friend sent it to me. I don’t even wanna pay the electricity to watch it.
What reality though? Companies are trying now more than ever to release the shittest cheapest games they can for massive gains. We see more and more trash making insane money. The reality is the average person will play a shitty game for something to do especially if it’s within their interests. In this case it just happened to fail so WB will fire a bunch of people and try something again. It’s a learning experience in the sense that they know they gotta raise the bar for the next release but it won’t be anything substantial.
I don’t have a need for a computer and I enjoy using a controller to easily navigate the system. I can toss the controller just about anywhere without it being in the way. I don’t have room for a dedicated desk so the mouse would get lost and the keyboard would be cumbersome for me to set somewhere out of the way.
I like to sit down, turn the console on, recline, turn the TV on, play, toss the controller in or on the coffee table after.
Honestly it’s talked about a lot. Isolated to online you would think most people are against these kinds of things but reality is the average player just doesn’t care. These companies have the statistics that show how much they’re making vs losing and when they take a chance and it sticks all the other companies align with the new money making way. That’s how we have gotten to where we are. This HD2 thing will blow over for now but it’ll come back in other ways. Likely next time you’ll see them just launch the game with the requirement and it won’t be stopped as it was this time. The issue this time was they did it after it got ridiculously popular especially with the PC community the community that sticks to being PC instead of consoles so trying to force them won’t ever work like that.
We can hate it all we want but sadly we can’t out weigh the immense amount of people who don’t care.
The new AI rollout hasn’t been so kind to those who wanna just update and go about our day. I know for me the update alone took 10m then another 10 to go through the tutorial for each of the new features. The security updates aren’t bad along with minor tweets to some features but there’s times where they add something and it moves something in the drop down menu.
Feels safe to assume as we get closer to GTA6 the more people they’ll cut to maximize profits on it. Everyone knows it’s highly likely to be up there with 5 on sales however they know not to just do a massive layoff as it would effect sales. With online being a key money maker the devs in that department are probably the only ones that are “safe”.
D.C. universe online, Arkam asylum, and the spider man (2018)
DCUO I had insane hours on with an amazing team of people
Batman Arkam asylum was such a leap forward in super hero fighting games I remember replaying the demo non stop until the game was released
Spider man (2018) really took ahold of that fighting fluidity that arkam asylum introduced and enhanced it with a nimble character and a great story line that was engaging and trophies that were fun to go after.
I am absolutely trash with the elden ring series but I love everything about it. I watch people play and enjoy it. I’m sure 20 years ago I’d have been all in on them but my game difficulty is set to easy these days.
