I main staff in one hand and ROB in the other and its worked out well. I’m in the DLC now most of the way through and only got stuck a couple times. I did a shitload of grinding.

Or just use magic its great, you can one-shot many bosses with the kamé kamé ha glass cannon build.

good call. I’ll wait for a few more games to come out then maybe pull the trigger later. I’m busy going through a catalogue of unplayed games like ace attorney and luigi’s mansion (I’m playing couch coop with my significant other through the stories of games we found on sale).

I heard its “slow” compared to past mario karts. Care to comment on that? I’ve also been holding off on a switch2, I just can’t justify the upgrade yet.

I’ve just given up on multiplayer, its just not fun anymore. I’ve been playing expo 33, blue prince, phantom liberty and lies of P and having a great time. They just don’t make fun multiplayer anymore. If they made something like halo 3 or bad company 2 I’d be back in a heart beat. I think the last multiplayer game I actually got into was rainbow 6 siege and but even that drove me away after year 4-5 or something.

lol, the ps5 controller alone is enough reason to purchase over the xbox. I have both and games are just more fun on the PS5, its better in every way.

I’ll take indie games overflowing with heart/soul/purpose/ a story to be told any day over cookie cutter tripple A slop.

One thing i’ll say about sekiro is that it demands you learn “the dance”. You need to play the game on its terms and learn the rhythms, essentially you just need to “git gud” but it is absolutely worth it once it clicks. Its an incredible game once you finally get a feel for it.

these are my favourite games, thats why I put them in the second comment I realize they’re a little on the more difficult side. My bad I didn’t clarify.

Ya I’m a big single-player story-driven player. Other recommendations are red dead 2 (never played 1, I’d like to), lies of P, sekiro, elden ring, bloodborne, uncharted series, death stranding (I love this game but completely get why people bounce off it), alan wake 2 (also not for everyone), control, and I’ll always have a soft spot for halo 1-3+reach. Theres probably a bunch more i’m forgetting but I loved all of those games. I just love a really good story.

mass effect, cyberpunk, clair obscur, baldur’s gate 3 all super fun and have difficulty options. Doom is pretty fun too. I’ve just been ripping through game pass single-player campaigns and RPGs.

Its this short-term cost cutting/outsourcing thats plaguing everything these days. In my own industry i’ve seen massive brain drain and decline in quality/morale as people are driven away since the bottom line is in conflict with worker motivations. Its good to see stories like this where people are taken care of.

I’ve used it in car rides and its not that bad. its not amazing, but better than no sound.

same company that made a system that could always wirelessly pair with bluetooth headsets/ear buds but didn’t enable that function for 4 YEARS then randomly dropped a software update activating that feature. That will always blow my mind.

Is this game fun? I’ve got ubisoft fatigue, is it just more of the same old stuff? I still think I’ll pick this up a year or so from now when its on sale for $40 or something.

its the best one, I still go back to it from time to time

Halo 3 custom games with full party was the golden era for me. All my other favourites are all RPG like baldur’s gate, red dead, mass effect ect…

It was Skill-up’s review that turned me off it and I’m glad I never played it from the rest of the reviews I’ve read. The art direction is so off-putting and I love the line “it feels like HR is in the room with you in every scene”, I have no idea what they were thinking.

Ya that game rules. I was also a massive fan of rainbow 6 Vegas 2 back in the day.

I’ve heard rumours of a buyout. Its sad I really used to enjoy a lot of their games and now they’re just not interesting at all.

or any nintendo game, I swear they’re never on sale.

had to be me… someone else might have gotten it wrong.

I prefer RPG, interesting narratives and “experiences”. I also used to be really into multiplayer games like halo 3, MW2, battlefield 4/bad company2 and even rainbow 6 siege. Whats turned me off of all that is aggressive monetization and super competitive sweat fests. It feels like all the fun/soul in those “good oll’ days” games just isn’t there anymore. Peak fun for me was maxed out halo 3 custom games and they just don’t make them like that anymore.

I wish they had DLC plans, I loved this game. The endgame set-up is perfect, one DLC could be the Karlach/wyll ending, one could be helping Gale with his thing… Theres endless material there

I hadn’t played elden ring in like a year since I beat it and boy was I upset when I found out they nerfed the 10 second infinite FP kame-kame-ha strategy. Its SO situational like just give me this one thing, is that too much to ask?!

I like their games but its such a weird company. like… people had been asking for bluetooth for wireless headphones on switch for years and it had just never been a feature. then one day… they like, just turned it on and said hey you can use wireless headphones now! like, that took 4 years! absolutely bizarre.

I’m curious how many people stayed on PS+ after that insane price hike with no benefit for the consumer. I canceled mine mid-way through the news article lol
