  • No shitty P2W mechanic bullshit.
  • Full game on release.
  • no always online requirement.
  • not completely unplayable at launch tripple A title.
  • content amount is worth its purchase value.
  • community mod support, which drives improvements and long term playability.
  • Development transparency on what the game is and where its headed.

Does it have bugs, of course, nothings perfect.

Can’t say too many games on the scale of BG3 came out this year that can check as many boxes. It takes GotY for me as well personally.

I enjoy super mario world. Games primo mario action. Super mario RPG is great as well.

OOT and SM64 are great play throughs, and if you’re interested in learning some speed run tech it can expand the fun.

PS2, you gotta play some GTA vice city and San Andreas. Shadow of the colossus is great.

Ah fair enough, for some reason i read a different mod submitters name. Ty for the clarification!

Just use one of the 6 other DLSS bridge mods kekw.

Puredarks mods been working since day 1 for me. No issues, even with reshade.

I just want to mention: wizards with full tadpoles, attck roll reduction with bonus damage roll increases + magic missle at 6th level pops off similarly as hard and never misses. Was doing roughly 170-210 damage a round.

Cant wait to see what other crazy builds people figure out!

Thanks for expanding on the knowledge. I was mainly speculating a bunch of stuff seeing limited information of the setup was provided. You explained that much better than myself.

Are they both using the same SSID or sperate?

If you search your phone for wifi priority you can set a preference.

If the same SSID, it should automatically swap to the highest connection strength AP. Depending on the networking hardware you might beable to addjust single strength. They could be overlapping, and reducing singal overlap may help the phone determine what AP it wants a bit easier.

Nah we’ll probably have to wait for modders to add dick suits.

I remember an apology being issued about it iirc.

Personally, I’m fine with mtx if it supports continual development of a game i paid for and enjoyed prior to them being added. As long as the actual meaningful game additions are free or 1-time transactions.

What i don’t like is constant FOMO based p2w mechanics that are a requirement to play in any meaningful way, like most mobile time walled games. I also don’t like when corpos make decisions like adding DRM to an always online game, that is known to impact users, just points to a devs inability or a monetary kick back of said 3rd party drm to the devs shareholders.

Shitty situation overall however :(

Just another possible point of failure with no real upside, beside the ability to slam it shut while on a call when angry like it is 2005 again.

Cosmetically the screen creases would anoy me.

Only use case I see valuable would be easier portability of larger screen formats. But I really never use a tablet to begin with.

I’m sure the tech will go towards better curved displays like monitors, tvs, and VR headset optics. Which are some things i maybe interested in using.

But at this point I feel it’s more gimmick than anything.

I don’t know a single person nor do I think most people would hold small studios and indie devs to the same level as Larian, which has 400 people working on BG3.

What’s embarrassing is the AAA devs making excuses, trying to use this concept as an excuse for half backed lackluster AAA releases. When most of them have released great games in the past. Most of which likely isn’t even the individual devs (people) fault, but rather their corporate leaders and shareholders pushing for quick profits. Which has resulted in a toxic release environment.

People will hold devs accountable, and they should.

People spend way to much time complaining about how games are not perfect in their eyes, instead of taking it at face value. They get literally outraged when a game doesn’t function exactly how they want, instead of finding a game they actually enjoy.

Back in the day we’d just pick whatever looked cool at the store and hoped it was decent. People have the right to complain, but its gotten out of hand and modern gamers are whiney as all hell.

Edit: just want to clarify, I’m mainly refer to post launch and established games. If a game promises somthing and is released half baked, 100% people are in the right to complain.

Yep people see value in things differently, which is fine by me. I also disagree with the problem of mass data collection farming then selling to 3rd parties.

You sure make a ton of assumptions buddy.

I have every right to complain about whatever I want, whenever I want, and yes i can spend my money on whatever i want however i want. Don’t like it, take your shit and fuck off little man.

You miss the entire statement of me refunding it if it’s bad? I specifically pay in a manner that allows me to refund or even charge back at will, which impacts the seller equally. How about the point about pre-orders being dumb overall, thats literallyin agreement? Or the referencing of the specifics around pre-orders = no more trials, as stated in the OP.

Now I’m just gonna stoop to your shit brain level and assume youre a broke ass child who spends money they can’t afford to lose on non-essetinal items, like video games for example.

My money, my choice. Everyone saying otherwise can eat a bag of dicks. I’ll preorder for bonuses if a game looks good, and I’ll refund that purchase if it releases in a garbage state.

I must remeber the history of gaming completely differently. Noone was demanding trials. Majority of people went to a store, looked at box art, made a purchase based on the art and description on the back. Plenty of stinkers in the mix.

Trails would be nice sure, not going to deny that. But I fail to see how pre-ordering is linked to no trials lol.

The concept of needing to pre-order a digital asset is already dumb as fuck. It won’t run out of stock or anything. That should be the reason to stop pre-orders, not due to a lack of arbitrary trails. Only reason I do it os the bonues or early access/head starts.
