Whenever I buy early access I ask my self “if the devs evaporated and development stopped permanently tomorrow, would I still buy this game?” It has snagged me some games I love like valheim, window kill, palworld and blade & sorcery. It’s also gotten me some games I enjoyed but still felt like a paid a good price for it, and also dodged a few bullets because the games look fun but weren’t complete and I didn’t buy
I bought prototype couple years before COVID and played 1 and 2 and just now decided to replay it. Get This mod to make the game more stable on modern hardware, I got it going on my ultrawide monitor
I also started replaying it a few weeks ago and FUUUUUCK that mission where you have to defend the doctor (i think is name was Ragland) behind the glass, not looking forward to that one when I do the harder difficulty
I swear when people say hot take it’s not hot but maybe I just agree with hot takes XD
me and my gf both agree if we get married, it’s not gonna be diamonds but some other colorful gemstone. I mean you got all these shiny sapphires, emeralds, rubies, even stuff like turquoise is pretty but no every wants the white gemstone
Hell I’ve even seen some women’s wedding rings out of this black steel in the spiral wavy pattern, the best way I can describe is the Celtic triad/trinity but using that pattern to make a ring
Anyway point being I think diamonds are really pretty but also kind of boring compared to other colors, maybe as accent gemstone if we ignore the price because shiny
I’m excited for the sequel but also nervous with the introduction of actual characters. Yea it’ll hopefully flesh out the games story and I loved playing the first one but I hope it doesn’t detract from my monkey brain thought of “shoot the guy”
Anyways I hope my ramblings make sense because my coffee is still brewing
remember when v blood bosses were in a list instead of the cool menu we have now, Pepperidge Farms remembers
Back in my day we got powers through bosses, things were better when things were worse (And yes I know these were added in the last major update)
In all seriousness I love the new spell system Also the skull projectile gem that makes it split now spawns two that go straight rather than forking which as someone who summons friends rather than finding them, this is a welcome change
I would love to play Skyrim vr but my laptop is an absolute powerhouse and doesn’t have the right ports for my vive pro and I use a family desktop that my family uses for sports simulators for VR
the desktop is pretty good but it’s a potato for vr. Capable of running if I turn the settings low enough and long load times :(
I’ve tried adapters that didn’t work and a wireless attachment requires me to open up the laptop and there’s probably no room in there cus laptop
I played Skyrim on and off (mostly off) starting about eeeh idk 4 years ago. Around November and a few months before that I got into the game again and decided to expand my mod list and go deeper into that rabbit hole. I’ve always played modded but it was pretty light stuff and nothing that required the script extender
Then they updated it and broke mods and just kept updating, so i bought oldrim and started again cus i only like to mod games that have stopped being updated for this exact reason
The put cheaters in a cheater lobby is one of my favorites
Idr what game but they unofficially called their anti cheat circles of hell
Small cheaters like a 10% speed boost hack or something that could be countered through skill would be placed with other minor cheaters and players above their skill
Meanwhile hard cheaters like flight and aim bot were only put with other cheaters
So I’ve ofc played Minecraft both Java and bedrock but never really got into the modding scene
However I do mod Skyrim (help me please) and to me it sounds like it’s gonna very similar to the difference of Bethesdas paid creations and running an antivirus and clicking download on nexus/mod site if you choice
I’m sure there’s going to be free ones too but that’s just my 2 cents
I’m really hoping it can live up to the first game
I’ve played a a game or two in some of the earlier play test so I haven’t played enough to for an opinion yet but i feel like splitgate 1 released at the right time to scratch that halo itch as well as a unique mechanic
