Yeah same here. Around the 40 hour mark. I found I moved onto something else. People spending time and resources on building big and different ship designs and building a base seemed pointless to me given the gameplay loop.
The game is NOTHING like what has been advertised over the years. Even vaulting isn’t a thing, and trailers have shown players vaulting over fences etc. why the fuck would you remove vaulting from a game?
Doesn’t anyone in gaming QA departments go, “Hey guys, what the fuck are you doing?” Or do they just see their salary as bribery to be a bunch yes people?
Why must everything be compared?
If I pull out my N64 and Goldeneye and have a round of single player or multiplayer with mates, fun is still to be had. No one is sitting thinking, this is shit compared to Quake.
These games have their place in the hearts of many because of its gameplay and I for one welcome a new game that honours this era for what it was.
Fuck this makes me sad, I got a man rush on Jensen and was really hoping for another instalment
