The only place I’ve seen it is if you didn’t finish paying for it (like getting a fence replaced at your house and then not paying them will get it torn down)

I think about this a lot

I love the idea of media expanding on the lore, but needing to insert a plot could ruin it

My only “solution” is a TV series instead of a movie and every episode should be a separate story

Yeah! Although, it’s more of a preventative measure than a trap card. A lot of the oils are pretty boring, but some can be fun to use

I ended up almost exclusively doing the Witcher missions since you usually learn what you’re going to fight

I know exactly what you mean. I started it 3 times before I got into it

In my opinion, a lot of the gameplay is fairly generic. Attacking a wraith feels the same as attacking a human

It really shines in the immersion and story, though. The first two times I played it, I was skipping all of the dialog and cutscenes (depression is a bitch), so I missed all the good parts

Once you get into the mindset of “hunting” one of the monsters and selecting the right oils and potions, it can be really fun and feel almost like “strategy”. For example, there’s a potion that turns your blood poisonous to vampires

Hades

I didn’t realize that the “God Mode” setting doesn’t do what it does in every other game. It essentially makes the game easier with each death. It’s been a lot easier to pick it up and put it down than when I played it in the past

Any sports “video game”. I’m sick of the “simulations”. I miss games like Blitz the League and The Bigs

Please forgive the naive (stupid) question. Does the steam deck allow emulator to play games that don’t normally run on emulators? I’ve been trying to play Blitz The League 2 for soooo long

I think it could be that my SSD must just be a little slower than yours. Adding a second to each of those loading screens adds up a lot (for me) and is constantly separating the gameplay

I also hate that phrase. It encourages you to blindly follow instead of wisly questioning

What we’ll probably get (from Bethesda) is a combination of both. Smaller, barren, and procedurally generated

There’s a child in my family who has monthly school shooter drills

I’m american. Is my perception of the average American correct?

I still think a commentor in another thread said it perfectly. GTA 6 will likely be a single player sample of GTA Online 2

The low gravity was fun, but the O2 just became another bar I have to monitor, so I didn’t enjoy it

I’m having a really hard time keeping up with the analogies at this point, haha

I keep reading that mod will ruin your textures over several hours

Unpopular opinion: I never liked discord for chatting either. I found it strangely confusing trying to keep track of logins for each group

Edit: I am indeed thinking of slack

Not to mention art direction. A call of duty character running around minecraft would look completely out of place (ignoring all of the technical complexities)

I’ve been playing video games my whole life and I’ve never been able to “git gud” at any game. I’m not going to put a significant amount of time and effort getting good at a game to figure out if I even like it

Can you please explain what you see that makes you say that? I truly want to understand (it doesn’t mean I will agree)

I’m at work and can’t watch the trailer. What is even there to be bigoted about?

You couldn’t have said it any better. This doesn’t make a single bit of sense and something is truly fucky here

Programmers don’t agree on distros, therefore they are the ones making the business decisions? I don’t follow

I started getting upset in the 360/ps3 generation when they got rid of cheat codes. Who the hell cares if I’m cheating in a single player game? I’m not using it to beat somebody in a competition. Just disable achievements and leader boards and let me play the game I bought

I’m cautiously optimistic. I’m a big believer that there’s a difference between a “good” movie and a “fun” movie. A Just Cause movie could definitely be fun

It also feels like the Sim logic hasn’t really changed in a while. They still do things like go upstairs to the bathroom to wash dishes
