But now I’m also looking forward to see then renewal of an old game … this is amazing.
IMO we’re pushing it pretty hard now, if they keep pumping out civs we’ll be 60 before you know it. I can barely keep track of all of them as it is. I feel like it’d hurt the semi-casual MP scene if we have to memorise bonuses of so many civs.
3 was awesome. 4 is a huge disappointment because it feels like it went backwards. Dated mechanics aren’t a big deal in a 20 year old game, but 4 really feels like a minor tweak of 2 rather than a game made this decade.

No new MP civs is a little disappointing.
IMO we’re pushing it pretty hard now, if they keep pumping out civs we’ll be 60 before you know it. I can barely keep track of all of them as it is. I feel like it’d hurt the semi-casual MP scene if we have to memorise bonuses of so many civs.
Not to mention all the hidden stats, bonuses, … with all the new Unique Units.
That’s cool, it’s still significantly better than 4.
However, 3 was the best one in my humble opinion.
