Original Title: HAVE WE FIXED STAR WARS JEDI: SURVIVOR PC? A FIX FOR CAMERA AND ANIMATION STUTTER

Crucially, this is not a cure-all for all of the game’s stuttering issues. It does nothing for shader compilation stutter and it cannot resolve known RT-related crashes and won’t improve UI quirks or other systemic issues that continue to plague the PC version of the game. However, it is a viable mitigation for one of the game’s most distracting visual artefacts: inconsistent, judder-like camera and animation in CPU-limited situation.

Help and suggestions
I feel sorry for this game, because it was a pretty well-written story and a bit of a better grappling with anger and the dark side. Also a great choice for a story, given that it occupies a span of story where “The Empire is winning, and none of the heroes can change that until Luke flips his dad.”
As mentioned, the performance issues make it hard for anyone to experience that. I think I heard a claim that it performs better on Linux than Windows, which I didn’t take time to verify yet. Sadly, while they’ve made some cool findings here I don’t think this is enough for anyone to pick it up. If I ruled EA, I’d want them putting out a re-release by fixing the issues themselves, and throwing in some new skin or something to market it.
I would have purchased and played it, since I played the first game and “semi” liked it as a Star Wars fan. Even with the technical issues. Game was on sale for 8.38 Euros on Steam. Why didn’t I buy? Simply because it “Requires 3rd-Party Account: EA Account” and “Incorporates 3rd-party DRM: EA online activation and EA app software installation and background use required”. Which is a deal breaker for me.
I had luck I guess. I only experienced 1 crash and nothing more, no stuttering or any other issues.

Same. I played shortly after release, with worse specs than you, and I had nearly no issues. A little bit of stuttering on rare occasion, but honestly not much more than other games. The hate against this game’s performance has been way overblown in my experience.
TLDR: no
Jedi: Fallen Survivor?
Oops, thanks for the catch!
I played this one shortly after release and it honestly ran incredibly smoothly for me. The only issue I had was one of the bounties never showed so I couldn’t properly finish them, but I wasn’t too upset about it.
I actually loved the story, way more than Fallen Order. Dagan Gera is honestly a very cool and interesting antagonist (and it doesn’t hurt that his fights are fuckin cool with his one-arm-using-the-force-to-swing-his-lightsaber around thing). Even the minor villains, like that warlord guy, are pretty cool and aren’t just bad guys.
I loved the scavenger aesthetic that was so present throughout Koboh. The mercenaries use old armor and ships left behind from the Clone Wars, and they’ve even found a Lucrehulk full of droids to use.
The banter between enemies when they’re out on patrols is honestly top-tier, right up there with the random conversations enemies would have in the old Jedi Knight games. One of my favorites was a couple stormtroopers making their rounds, and one says “I like when we’re out on patrol together.” The other responds with “we do stand better odds with more people.” The first one is just like “yeah… That’s right…”
