Thank you billion dollar company for basic functionality.
Where? You have to long press an email first, can’t interfere with those accidental clicks on the ads randomly shuffled into the promotions section

Neat.
If we’re talking about cleaning up inboxes, how many years has it been that I don’t have a way to create folders from within the app? And when foldering an email, there’s no option to type to filter down options (like exactly how it works in the default Android dialer and contacts apps, so it’s not like it’s impossible). The Gmail Android app is garbage, it’s been garbage forever, and that’s shameful coming from the company that both A) owns Gmail, and B) owns the platform the app runs on.
Too bad nobody ever told you about labels.
Too bad you also can’t create a new label from the app, either. You have to do it from within a browser, just like creating new folders.
Wow, a smartphone interface that doesn’t have full desktop functionality? Super bizarre.
It is also bizarre that you want to tell someone how to do it in the app while you don’t even know how the app works. That the app has crippled functionality is the whole point.
I was glad I created foldets way back when it was still a thing. So I put things I want easy access to in folders.
Fuck the way it is now to disorganized.
Wow
Just give me back my Google Inbox you murderers
