NVIDIA is currently investigating a bug where their drivers are crashing on modern kernels (6.10+). This appears to happen across drivers 550, 555 and even the latest 560.
Please AMD, revive ZLUDA so i can free myself from the nightmare that is Nvidia.
I would love nothing more, but unfortunately we’ve worked ourselves into a corner where the only way to ditch them at this point would be to re-engineer all of the external cuda-dependent code in house.

My DKMS doesn’t even compile 550 with 6.10.x
If you have 13/14 Gen Intel and it errors out with random SIGILL errors you are being hit by the Intel instability problem.
At least for me that was the only place where the instability surfaced before bios updates and tweaks.
I’m on Debian Sid and it just fails to configure the kernels because the Nvidia module won’t build. I’m stuck on 6.9 for now.
how/why?
Dunno. Compilation errors. Google just says they haven’t patched it for the new kernel in Testing/Unstable right away
I gave up on nvidia on linux long ago
